Sugar in the bread crumbs.
So disappointed that they added sugar to these bread crumbs. I used to buy them all the time and they were the perfect bread crumbs for meatballs and salmon patties. As soon as I tasted my salmon patties I knew something was different. I read labels when I’m trying a new product, but I didn’t think I had to. So disappointing.

No protected seal under the plastic lid. Didn’t even get to use because was not sure if this was normal to not have a protected seal and didn’t want to risk any contamination. It was also about 1-1/2” below top. Is this normal packaging because this is my first time buying this product….

Unknown herbs in container
This is the second time I’ve found green stuff that look like dried herbs in the breadcrumbs. It’s not gross, probably dried basil or cilantro, but nowhere in the ingredient list does it mention either one (although that is a looong and scary ingredient list!). If there is something inside a food product that shouldn’t be there, you have to wonder what else is going in by mistake.

Too many ingredients
It’s tough to find plain breadcrumbs that aren’t seasoned, so I was glad to find these. However, there are A LOT of ingredients that seem really unnecessary. These do the job, but I will look for organic options with fewer added ingredients in the future.
