Description
The Premier Pet™ Rechargeable Bark Collar discourages barking for all size dogs. If your dog barks, the collar detects the vibration of your dog’s vocal cords and issues a gentle static correction. This correction will not be triggered by the bark of any dog except the one wearing the collar. With 15 levels of automatically adjusting static correction, this anti-bark collar ensures your dog receives the best level for his/her temperament. The correction will start at the lowest level and will only increase if barking persists. No programming required! This rechargeable, waterproof collar has a nylon strap that is adjustable up to 28”, making it a great fit for both smaller and larger dogs. A low battery indicator on the collar will alert you when the collar battery should be replaced. A built-in safety feature will automatically shut off the collar for 3 minutes if your dog barks 15 times or more within a 1 minute 20 second period. Leaves a lot to be desired
I’m pretty sure this doesn’t work, or maybe it’s user error. I’ve tried two, and neither seemed very effective. There are no labels in the collar itself, so if you want to remember how to turn it on or off, you need to find the box with the directions (& hope you haven’t lost it or thrown it away). Other collars with a clear on/off toggle are the way to go. This one has one button you push and hold for one and off, and flashing lights that either mean on or off … it’s anyone’s guess in the moment unless you carry those directions everywhere you take the collar.

Bark collar
I bought this collar after reading such great reviews for the most part. It does not work for our dog for some reason. I’ve charged it. It’s turned on . I put it under the chin area as well as adjusted it to fit snuggly and still…he barks as of it isn’t on him at all. It was worth a try but at this point I am planning on returning it.

There is no way to actually tell what setting you are on, they say there are 15 different settings but it didn’t even seem to work at all for my dog. Will be returning this item

Just ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bark collar works ok depending on the dog, I think. I have 3 dogs, two medium (45 to 50 lb range) and one small dog (15 lb). All bark as dogs are known to do, I just want them to quit after the initial alert. Unfortunately, they egg each other on. We got one collar to test it out before getting one for each dog. The small dog and the shorter haired medium dog could definitely feel the correction. However the other medium dog is a bit fluffier around the collar area. Nothing I did seemed to make a difference for her. I am unwilling to proceed any further with this experiment with such mixed results.

Intimidating, but effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this collar for my parents to use on my dog, who has become such a terrible night barker that I've shipped him off to "grandparent school". They were hesitant at first to use it because the two prongs that need to be fitted tightly to the dog's neck are so thick and long and scary looking. But when they finally gave it a try, the obnoxious dog only gave two short barks in the night and then didn't make a peep until morning (presumably because the collar responded to his barks). So in its first trial, it did the job as we'd hoped! The dog stayed much quieter than usual for another 24 hours before seeming to forget. You do need to remember to take the collar off within 12 hours, which is annoying -- wish it could just stay on constantly vs having to take it on and off and keep track of it in between wears.

Hard time keeping the collar the correct size. Overall charging was easy, seemed to work well in the beginning but doesn't seem to help with excessive barking anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I would need to use one of these. Thought it was a bit mean. But we have a English bulldog who I think barks if she hears a leaf fell. And her bark is so loud. Tried just about everything. Get this was a last resort. But I’m so glad that I did. She’s barking a lot less and hopefully she will stop barking at everything she hears soon. Wish I would have gotten one sooner. Will be using it on our 25 lbs mix breed next. Charging it is so easy. Was a little confusing figuring out when it is turned on/off at first. But got it figured out now., I am very pleased with the results and recommend it to anyone who has a dog that barks non stop.

Easy to use

It works for our big ole 75 pound dog who barks at everything including his own shadow. The Premier Pet Rechargeable Bark Collar is easy to fit and charge. I appreciate the fact that the “warning” gradually increased in intensity, so our dog has learned from his mistakes and now just wearing the collar reminds him not to bark. There is no worry about finding the remote control, the collar does the reminding. We live in the rainy Pacific Northwest, and my dog loves to lay in any water he can find, so the fact that it is waterproof is a bonus. Unfortunately, the battery life has decreased over time but it quickly recharges. It”s a simple, all in one product for the yappy pet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to go with the inground fence for my big dog. It had lots range of size in the collar. I was glad that it was adjustable as my dog is still young but large and will continue to grow rapidly for the next little while.
