Q: What happens if you go against the growth? I noticed when I did more hair fell out. Is it safe to do it every once in a while?

We advise you to always brush in the direction of hair growth with deshedding tools, as going against the grain can cause discomfort, skin irritation, or damage to your pet's coat. While brushing against the growth might temporarily remove more hair, it is generally considered an unsafe technique for your dog's skin and coat health. Q: Does this tool have a blade that cuts hair? Or does it just get the undercoat/ loose hair?

My dog had short hair but sheds uncontrollably. Everytime you pet him he leaves tons of hairs on the floor. This deshedding brush does a great job getting the loose, excess hairs. My dog event loves getting brushed, it must feel good to him hahah

This thing works- I use it on my frenchie who sheds baaaad twice a year. I couldn’t believe how much loose hair came off him after using this brush. I’d empty it out and keep brushing, shocked that it seemed to be neverending. This tool definitely seemed to speed up the process of getting rid of all his loose hairs quicker. I definitely recommend it!

A just adopted and a chihuahua/blue heeler mix and she sheds more than I thought was possible haha. This works great! I get HANDFULS of loose fur with this. Like other reviewers said, I could make a whole other dog with what it takes off. She seems to love it. It deeply relaxes her and I think it must feel like a massage. And she's so shiny after!

Finally, a brush that understands the struggle of living with three floofy overlords! I’m convinced this deshedding brush is powered by some kind of cat hair magnet because it manages to extract more fur than I thought possible. It's like a vacuum, but without the noise or the judgmental looks from my cats. My cat companions are shedding so much less, I’m starting to wonder if they’re secretly getting haircuts while I’m at work. Plus, the amount of fur I’ve removed could knit several sweaters. 10/10 would recommend to anyone tired of finding cat hair in their coffee, on their clothes, and in places you didn’t even know fur could reach. My vacuum might actually get a break now!
