Featuring 14 different professionally graded lead values each with a silky smooth laydown, you’re empowered to create professional-quality drawings. Your kit comes with seven Turquoise drawing pencils with hardened cores that resist breakage, four versatile woodless graphite pencils that can be used dull for coverage or sharpened plus three water-soluble ebony pencils that create intensely dark marks. To keep your sketches tight, the kit comes with both a kneaded eraser that can be shaped to any area you want to erase and a vinyl Magic Rub eraser that’s perfect for delicate surfaces. Meanwhile, the sanding board makes it easy to create powdered mixes and unique points. The kit is completed with a steel pencil sharpener.

Nice compact drawing set! Has everything you need to get started. Nice variety of pencils, comes with a sharpener, kneaded eraser, sanding board, and Magic Rub Eraser. All work wonderfully.

I love these!
Let's start at the beginning, the CASE! I love when art supplies have sturdy packaging that you can actually get use out of. Onto the actual pencils- the different ones in the set are great for testing out what you prefer and are super versatile for anything you could want to sketch! I also NEVER had any of them break when sharpening them, which is a big plus for me because I find that extremely annoying.

My favorite basic set
Long lasting with good coverage. Enough variety to achieve a great pencil sketch or more detailed works with lots of shading. They blend well with both finger and smudger, and are packed nicely for the price!

Disappointed
I was surprising disappointed in these. I’m an artist and frequently use Prismacolor brand colored pencils and I thought their sketching pencils would have the same quality but this whole kit was lacking. I’m not sure what went wrong, if it was just way too old or stored incorrectly or what. The pencils are all very light, even the ‘charcoal’ seem to be just a slightly softer graphite. The kneadable eraser was so old that even after warming and wetting and working with it it just crumbled to bits and never kneaded so I had to toss it. The regular eraser doesn’t erase well at all and is just an uncomfortable bulk in comparison to others. The pencil sharpener works great though, so I guess that’s something

Purchase anything else but these
So bad almost laughable. Tried sharpening pencils and the lead kept falling off. I’ve had many of different brands of pencils and love Prismacolor colored pencils, so I wanted to try these. Used the included sharpener as well as a different prismacolor sharpener I own. Same result. I never post reviews, but I was so disappointed I went to the time and effort to show the quality of these pencils.

The best pencils to draw with
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer from anxiety and depression I used to draw before, so I wanted a positive way to ease up my anxiety, and let's just say I am in love with these pencils. When I'm feeling down and overwhelmed this is the perfect way to come back to my own happy thoughts. Really love how they feel when I draw I can feel my face smiling when I use them it's like a fresh air goes through me. Well definitely buy more down the line.
