No acid coming up

I've been taking ascorbic acid for a very long time. All of a sudden a few months ago - I began getting really bad acid indigestion/GERD. It took me a while to figure out that it was the ascorbic acid I'd been taking. I don't know whether that brand changed the formula or what (it had polysorbate 80 in it too) but the burning was so bad it went into my back. I searched AI for a good brand of either ester-c or buffered c. I tried the ester-c and don't like that it has metabolites in it - I just wanted a CLEAN vitamin c that didn't upset my stomach. This brand Pure fits the bill. No stomach upset, no acid coming up, no GERD. Thankfully they make this kind of vitamin c because it is really limited out there.
