submitted byJA - 8 years agoA: It's a liquid capsule, so you can't crush it. I have difficulty swallowing some things, but this goes down with no problem. That's why I get these and not tablets. Where I work, we use to poke holes in liquid caps and put the liquid down feeding tubes.

I ran out of my regular magnesium so I picked this up. I had to take liquid pepto for 4 days just to go to work. I didn't understand what was wrong with me until I remembered I starred taking these. It was horrible. Ill be letting my friends know not to use your products. Ill be going back to my original magnesium.

I too am not happy with the new gelcaps. I was very surprised at the new color and was wondering if it was even the right product. Since I started these, my fibro pains have flared up. After reading other reviews, it could be due to diminished efficacy. Additionally, a random dark pill was in my bottle. Not sure what is going on but after using this exact product for over 15yrs, I am extremely disappointed.

I’ve been using this product for several years with no issues, but the recent changes have been very disappointing. The new version has an unpleasant taste and smell, the pills are smaller, and it now upsets my stomach, something that never happened before. Please consider bringing back the original formula. If this version remains, I may have to switch to another brand.

The original brown pills were perfect. Why the change it was unnecessary as you can see by all of the comments on this page. Have been taking this product for many years and never had a problem a week into the new pills(red) And there is definitely a difference. I can’t imagine it was necessary.

I am so angry- the ingredients changed without warning! I was shocked when I opened a new bottle and found a different color after using this for over 10 years, so I went to look it up and found the formula had changed and people are having problems with this! I feel uncomfortable trying it after all the reviews indicating the new formula is less effective and seems to leave many with stomach issues, so I will sadly be in the market for a new product- hopefully one that is up front about any changes made in their products!

I just purchased 180 soft gels of extra strength, magnesium 400 MG by Nature Made. I open the seal and the smell is so bad there is no way I can take this product. Lot:2556269. Exp:Dec 2025 Maybe vege caps will be better.

I have been using this product for 5 years and it used to be the best magnesium on the market. The recent changes with the addition of carmine and soy oil are causing me to have stomach pain and they don’t produce the “desired” effect for me anymore. Will not be buying these ever again unless they change it back.

I bought a bottle of 180 soft gels and was alarmed to see mysterious RED gel capsules!! I’ve been taking them for about a week and have been feeling very nauseous. I came to this website and realized everybody’s having that experience. I must discontinue their usage. Please go back to the original formula that I have been using for years. I just wasted money on a large bottle.

I have been taking this for close to 2 years with no problems. I purchased new bottle and to my surprise the pills were red bow instead of dark brown. I have been taking them for a week and have felt bad all week! Stomach pain & cramping, headache, weird feelings in my legs, and dizziness. Also very unhappy you have added bugs to the ingredients- BIG NO THANK YOU. Use to love your product but I will no longer be using it. Why did you ruin a good thing? Wish I could get a refund! Won't be taking anymore so hopefully I get to feeling better.

I’ve been buying these vitamins for a few years and have loved them. I was shocked when I opened a new package and the pill color was red now instead of brown. I proceeded to take it anyways, I had extreme stomach pain and cramps throughout the night. I googled to find many people are having issues with this new change.
