Q: If taking 2 Olly gummy Sleep will not keep you asleep through the night is it okay to chew 3?

  • A: After looking at the Extra strength sleep gummies they contain 5mg of melatonin each and the recommended dose is 2. I would say if you have these on hand and want to use them then taking 3 would only equal 9mg of melatonin(less than the extra strength) which is still a safe dose of melatonin.

However, individual responses to any supplement can vary and some people find they benefit from a lower dose of melatonin while others benefit from a higher one. We can not make recommendations beyond the label dose, however if you need more sleep support, you might consider the new OLLY Extra Strength Sleep. It contains 5 mg of melatonin.

  • A: Hello! OLLY Restful Sleep is formulated with 3mg of melatonin per serving (2 gummies). Full elimination of oral melatonin is achieved after 6-9 hours. Therefore, most people wake up feeling refreshed and rested after taking OLLT Restful Sleep and allowing for enough sleeping time. Individuals who feel groggy after taking may be more sensitive to the effects of melatonin and could consider taking half of the suggested dose (1 gummy). OLLY Up!

    No other melatonin has ever worked like this!

    I've tried the flavored chewable melatonin from a different brand before and it never did anything. I don't know what's in this stuff, but it properly knocked me out on a redeye flight. And when I took some the next evening to help me sleep, I knocked out then as well! The downside is that I've felt fairly groggy the past couple days, which may be a side effect or may just be jetlag, but at least I slept well and have minimized out-of-sync sleeping as much as possible given that I traveled to a time zone that's 8 hours ahead. I'll always travel with this for long flights now. Perfect as I've got a veeeryy long flight to NZ later this year!

    Works and works well

    I've been using Olly sleep for just about a year now. I only take a 1/2 gummy- that's how well they work for me. I beco.me comfortably drowsy and just drift off to sleep. I don't feel drugged or groggy in the morning. I got quality sleep. It's good stuff

    Need remedy for Olly doing the complete opposite.

    I took 2 gummies about 2 hours ago. They seemed to work at first. I started getting sleepy after 30 minutes and shut my eyes for a little over an hour and a half but now… I’m wide awake. And not semi-awake. I feel on-drugs-awake, this is terrible. I used to take Zzzquil several years ago but I heard Olly was the newer and better stuff. Anyone have a remedy for this state I’m in?

    Actually works well

    Melatonin has never worked for me, even in higher doses. So I was skeptical of this product. I actually bought 2 of the sample packets to try it at first. Surprisingly, this blend works for me. I fall asleep faster. I seem to sleep better. And I don’t have residual grogginess in the morning. Great product

    Not for me

    I've been taking for a few days, and I still can't fall asleep. I feel like I'm sleepy but once I go to bed I'm just looking at the wall. Maybe two hours later I fall asleep for one hour. The taste was ok and the price was fine, but they didn't help me sleep.

    Holy Grail of melatonin

    I’m not gonna lie, the taste takes a second to get used to, it’s a bit of an acquired taste! However, in terms of the actual efficacy of the product, I love it. This is my holy grail of melatonin, it doesn’t leave me feeling groggy in the morning like other brands I have tried. I think that may be due to the other ingredients like l-theanine and some of the botanicals. As with any melatonin supplement, I would not recommend taking this every night, but for occasional use to fight insomnia it works wonders!

    Effective for me after two nights of consistent usage. I have a hard time sleeping even with my eyes closed for a long period of time. 2 gummies 30 minutes before sleep, and it tastes like normal gummy candy I would eat as a child.

    I have been using this consistently every night to help me sleep and stay asleep. I contribute my restful night's sleep to this supplement. It helps me stay asleep, and wake up feeling refreshed. The taste is also nice, its sweet and non-bittery.

    Great product

    We love these gummies in my house. They don’t have a fake vitamin flavor and tastes like you are eating candy. I usually only take 1/2 the serving size (1 gummy) and it puts me right to sleep. I never feel groggy in the morning either.
