I had one of these for dinner at a campsite. Super convenient to pack and serve. The taste was phenomenal, literally liked the bowl dry, I guess I didn’t have to clean it haha. Anyway so basically it ended up giving me the worst gas you could imagine. No literally I was farting up a storm that night around the campfire, praying that their alarming sound and stench would be drowned out by the fireworks and smoke. I would have loved to spend this Fourth of July with a happy tummy, but I cannot wait to poop in the morning. My poor campground neighbors, hope they sleep through all my sulfur bombs

I used to really like these, it was perfect. pop the lid, water to the line, 50 secs and let sit for 2 mins I as of recently started buying again and now it's watery on those same steps, I have tried to do it for 2 mins!!! and still comes out watery and after sitting STILL watery. Im pretty sure they changed packaging or something because it's a night and day difference and I've tried 4 from 2 different packs. each time the same result.

Tasty but a tad sweet
I prefer the apple cinnamon one of this same brand of cup of instant oatmeal. The maple brown sugar is too sweet for me so probably won’t buy it again.

Convenient but different taste
I give these 2 stars for the convenience but no more because they taste different from the packets. Also the instructions are unhelpful. It says to fill to the line with water before microwaving but this ended up in oatmeal soup. Even when I tinkered with the water level to thicken it up the flavor is off and it's pretty gross. The oatmeal packets are much, much better. I have yet to try one of these cups and actually enjoy it.

What's the point of quick oats in a cup if when you heat it in the microwave the contents end up on the microwave plate? Following the directions leads to disaster and hangry children. Let's work to improve this blbecause it is a good idea.

Microwave instructions
The fact that following the instructions on the container for multiple different microwaves always requires me to stand right next to the microwave and start and stop the time so the container doesn’t pour its entire contents out in the microwave, blows my mind. You might as well make it on the stove if the “convenience” packaging does not work. Make the product work in the microwave or stop misleading with false instructions on the packaging. It’s as of it was never even tested.

I have grabbed a few Maple Brown sugar. I even add 1/3 cup more of plain wick oats, add boiling water instead of microwave. Q: Is the oatmeal in the quick cup the same as the Minute Oatmeal, NonGMO? A solution: legally blind cannot see the line, but they could feel one. Try crimping a ridge at the water level.
