  • A: It says it contains 100% whole grains, which leads me to believe it's not. You can get the gluten-free version on Amazon.

  • A: No they are not gluten free. Gluten free oats are oats grown not near wheat. Oats don’t have the gluten protein but grown near wheat they get contaminated with wheat making them not safe for those with gluten issues.

    Not as expected

    Bad quality. Boiling Water still in bowl after covering and adding to oatmeal. Even after microwaving, it seemed "undone". Returning back to store will buy Aldi store brand oatmeal, it's so delicious. Check it out. Quaker has failed smh.

    Disgusting

    Can someone in the reviews please tell me what other brand I can try that tastes how the ORIGINAL Quaker flavor used to taste? This new flavor is terrible, I noticed the change immediately and hated it. Thought I was going crazy until I read the other reviews. Really sick of companies doing this.

    Change it back!

    I literally eat this every day for years and now it is not absorbing water for some reason. This ruins it completely. Please revert whatever you did or you will loose a long time customer. This also applies to the lower sugar version.

    Long time supporter but agree with others, hate the change. It doesn't absorb water, texture and taste not up to par!! Will be checking out generic to see if it changed as well.

    This came crushed and torn along with a large box of cheerios with an open bottom. both were in one bag at the drive up pickup in Edina. the large Charmin was also torn open

    Original old formula was better

    I have been eating maple and brown sugar my entire adult life 2-3 times a week. Well, now that has changed. Your new formula tastes terrible. Ridiculously bad. How can you mess up oatmeal? It now tastes like fake sugar coated clumps of soggy cardboard. Quit trying to make an extra 50 cents a box and bring back the old formula. Creamy, delicious and just the right sweetness. Come on Quaker, you can do better.

    Win for livelihood, a spoon for mixing 2 percent milk just a pour. peanut or jelly with honey sandwiches turns this breakfast into a real brunch also.

    Revolting New Taste

    The taste between my current box and the last is 100% different now, and the new taste is actually revolting. It tastes less sweet and has a strange after taste now that that only gets more disgusting as you continue to eat it. I'll be switching to compliments.

    Not up to you standards

    The last 2 boxes of 8 that I have purchased Show no sign of brown sugar but a fine white powder that does not “melt”. What have you done to this previously delicious cereal? I am going to have to find a different brand. ☹️ I grew up on Quaker Oats.

    Definitely way less sugar in the new recipe. I likely could have adapted to a gradual reduction in sugar. Long time purchaser @ 69 yrs. of age.
