Q: Would these be suitable for storing fruit?
A: Hello A - It is better to choose a ceramic or, preferably, a wire mesh bowl. Plastic or metal bowls tend to make fruit sweat which can speed up deterioration.Hope this helps!! - Theresa

Q: would this basket hold a roll of 100 thirteen gallon trash bags
A: Hello Save Me - We're glad you asked! The overall dimensions of the smaller basket is 6 Inches (H) x 13.75 Inches (W) x 6 Inches (D) and larger basket is 6 Inches (H) x 17.75 Inches (W) x 6 Inches (D) so may not be wide enough to hold a roll of 100 trash bags, but may for a smaller roll. We hope this helps! - Sokim
