Beautiful.color and stitch definition
I bought this during the March 2026 40% off sale and am happy with the start of a Afghan for my nephew. His favorite color is "spruce green" so I thought this variegated yarn would be a good choice for a large throw. The yarn is chrochetting great, using the recommended size hook 5.5. I would definitely buy again. I gave it 4 stars as I haven't yet washed or dried sample and as per other reviews it does have a little scratchiness but hopefully will resolve with washing with fabric softner.

My Favorite Brand
Red Heart is the only brand of yarn I buy. It stitches easily and holds together beautifully. I crocheted my very first blanket more than 3 years ago. It's been washed countless times and it's still in great condition. Highly recommended yarn.

RHSS is my favorite yarn!
Red Heart Super Saver is my go-to yarn. Love the color selection (although more colors would be even better). The worsted weight is perfect for the blankets I make. And its affordable price allows me to make lots of blankets. I hope they never stop making RHSS!

I purchased this specifically for a project I have planned. I had ordered from another site first, but they send me Light Rose (color on label) inside an additional bag with a Light Raspberry printed label on it - not a regular Red Heart label!

Great colorway to work with. Good yarn.
I bought this recently, and I love the way the colors work. The die lot is a bit too different from the original die lot I had started a project with, so I now have enough of this to do a 2nd project with all die lots matching.
