A: It was a challenge- we wound up almost snapping a piece off because we put some parts together incorrectly. Nice piece though- keeps cushions and pillows dry under covered porch

A: I agree, the assembly was a challenge. I just followed the diagrams. It was a bit tricky because I was the lone assembler but if finally came together and I have no regrets. Very happy with it.

A: The deck box does not come with a padlock. I don't see how you could lock it. We don't sit on ours because we did not want it to lose it's shape. My personal opinion is that if you are a smaller person it would not be a problem. Kids could certainly sit on it.

Unable to assemble
I am giving this item a pooR review because it does not come with instructions and there was no way to attach the lid to the box. The metal rod included did not have the proper holes to slide through. The overall quality of the box is good but the lid will not attach properly because there are no holes for the rod to go through.

Beautiful and snaps together. Looked up you tube video to follow instructions. You do need a strong person to snap it together. I bought a table and chairs from amazon and it looks like the storage box and table and chairs are a set although different company for each item. Nice and roomy and I am very happy.

Nice looking deck box!
This medium size deck box is great! Like all Suncast products that I've had, it's solidly made and looks very nice in the brown rattan-look. The instructions for assembly were a bit confusing but I found a YouTube video that made it super easy to put together. Be sure to lay out the pieces first and read all the instructions first (or watch the entire video first) because some parts didn't assemble as I would have guessed. It looks like this piece will last many years. (I'm replacing a very old Suncast deck box.)

I like this box. I already have one and ordered another. Unfortunately when it arrived, it was missing parts (found out AFTER we put it together). So we spent an hour putting it together and taking it apart, we had to drive to the store to return it. The box itself is great but wish they would check the packaging to avoid wasting customers' time.

Very easy to put together insctructions we're simple took less then 30 minutes to assemble. Had a lot of rain after I set it up outside and none got inside so my cushions stayed dry. And looks very nice on the deck would definitely recommend.

Good storage for patio/deck
The box came together fairly easily and looks nice. It also seems to be keeping our outdoor cushions dry and clean. We were able to fit 4 back cushions and 4 accent pillows in the box. The 4 matching seat visions were a bit too big for the box unfortunately. So we have stacked them indoors when not in use.
