Small but Mighty!
Quick operations and smooth screen motions. This works as well, if not better than native car play systems. I like the small dongle and being able to give it to a friend to use with their phone, or a better connection for mine that doesn’t drop. Overall great product for a good price.

Simple, automatic CarPlay connectivity
I tried a wireless CarPlay adapter before but it was always a bit awkward. The connection would lag and drop out occasionally, and the configuration was pretty cumbersome. This Rexing unit is a vast improvement however. Everything just works. The added simplicity of just being able to plug it in and have your phone automatically and reliably connect to CarPlay without having to intervene cannot be overstated.

Cut the cable - Seamless wireless car play
I’m very impressed with the Rexing CPW-42 Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto Adapter and have found it to be a great upgrade for my car. The setup process was surprisingly simple and only took a few minutes. I just plugged the adapter into the car’s USB port, paired my phone, and everything started working without having to go through a complicated installation or change any settings in the car. I like the convenience of being able to use wireless CarPlay instead of having to connect my phone with a cable every time I get in the car. Once it has been paired, the adapter connects automatically when I start the car, which makes the whole experience feel like a factory-installed wireless system. The adapter itself is extremely small and lightweight, so it doesn’t clutter up the center console or hang around with wires. Performance has also been very good, with navigation, music, phone calls, and other CarPlay features working smoothly and with very little noticeable delay. The connection has been stable and I haven’t had to constantly reconnect or troubleshoot it after the initial setup. The only thing I would mention is that compatibility can vary depending on the vehicle, so it’s important to make sure the car already supports wired CarPlay or Android Auto before purchasing this adapter. At around $70, it may cost a little more than some of the generic adapters available, but the compact design, easy setup, automatic connection, and overall reliability make it feel like a worthwhile purchase. Overall, the Rexing CPW-42 has made using CarPlay/Android Auto much more convenient and has eliminated the hassle of plugging in my phone every time I drive. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who already has wired CarPlay or Android Auto and wants a simple, clean, and reliable way to go wireless.

Awesome and simple product
I love that it is plug and play! I literally installed it while sitting in the Target parking lot. Love the wireless-ness. Otherwise, I’d still be having to plug it in because my 2020 4Runner ORP doesn’t have CarPlay installed. Super easy!

The most convenient accessory I have ever purchased for my car.
After using Android Auto on a recent vacation with my daughter which displayed on my 7" multimedia screen. I gave up my GPS and started using it exclusively. The issue I had was in my 2017 Honda Accord the only way Android Auto would work was if my phone was physically plugged into my car with a cable. This prevented me from closing the small compartment in front of my shifter and I regularly left my phone in the car when I would get out. After installing a Rexing media device in my convertible that would auto connect Android Auto to my phone without me having to unlock my phone or even get it out I knew I had to find a way to do this in my Accord. This device does that and unlike some of the ones I saw online it does not overheat and connects everytime with no issues. Setup took 5 minutes and now I get in, start the car and Android Auto pops up.
