I haven't used an FM modulator since the early days of CDs being a "luxury feature" in cars, and was pleasantly surprised how crisp and clear this unit is. Sure, it's sound quality is not as good as Bluetooth or a proper cable, but it's a great solution for older aux-less cars if you're unable or not ready to put in a decent system and sounds far better than good signal on a radio station.

Worked perfect for what I needed and wanted! I purchased it solely to play music from my phone and it works great and is super clear! I haven't used it for a long call yet but for music its great and I love it so far! I did receive static at first but after checking the instructions I tuned my radio and the device to an un-used radio station and then it was completely clear with no static at all!

First you'll want to ensure that you're tuning your car radio to a "dead", unused frequency. Find a station that does not have an active broadcast and is preferably static covered, and match the frequency on the transmitter to this radio station. The transmitter has its own volume setting or adjustment, so you'll want to make sure to also have the volume on the transmitter turned all the way up. To turn up the volume on the transmitter, while streaming Bluetooth audio (music) turn and hold the tuning lever in the down position. This should raise the volume to the highest volume setting. The highest volume setting on the transmitter should read "V30" on the display. The following product is backed by Scosche’s 3 year Limited Warranty and Scosche's Lifetime Tech Support. First you'll want to ensure that you're tuning your car radio to a "dead", unused frequency. Find a station that does not have an active broadcast and is preferably static covered, and match the frequency on the transmitter to this radio station. Your transmitter has a volume adjustment. Once you've paired and connected your phone to the Bluetooth FM transmitter you can turn and hold the Multifunction knob/dial on the face of the transmitter to the right (clockwise). This will ensure the transmitter's volume is turned up all the way. The loudest volume setting on the transmitter is 30 and you should see "V30" on the display of the transmitter. This was working just fine and just long enough to throw away the receipt. I bumped the device with my hand reaching for something and it immediately shut off. It shows that it is still paired to my device, and I can hear the tiniest bit of music, but no matter the troubleshooting I've done, it won't work. Majorly bummed and back to the drawing board.

This is great or not so much depending on your intended use with this item. I got it for the Bluetooth audio. Using the aux to directly connect its perfect and everything I wanted. I don’t love the call feature as it’s a little muffled. Using the fm feature is just ok as there is a little static.

Works great! Easy to connect and really no setup. I would suggest perhaps user error is the issue for people saying there is low volume. Turning your device volume up is one of the only instructions. Maybe that is the issue?

This is the second one I have bought. Within 8 months both became very staticky and even with radio changes there is no improvement. The Bluetooth phone communication works great. It's just that over time it allows more static. In all cases, you have to turn it way up even though the media volume on the phone is high but not high enough to cause feedback. I need a different brand.
