    Not easy as it looks

    I had to use the full bottle both same size for color & then this fixture to keep the color. It took more than 10 rinses to stop the color bleeding. Hope it will not bleed color if it rains.

    Must Have for Tie Dye

    I have a hand dyed textile business, and I use all kinds of dye, not just Rit, but something I have to have is this fixative. After a 10 minute soak in a bucket of water mixed with this, the fabric is pretty colorfast. I wash it again after the fixative to get rid of any remaining dye, but it’s so much better than not using this.

    Would probably work on light color dye jobs

    I bought this and the black all purpose dye to dye my couch covers. I let them soak in 8 bottles of the dye for an hour and then rinsed in cold water until it ran clear and the covers looked black even soaking wet. Then I put them into this solution mixed in hot water like the directions say and they are now a dark grey. I’m really disappointed in how it turned out after using and will definitely skip this next time.
