Works great for myself. I am an average user. I have almost exclusively used this as a hard backup of my phone photo storage. While traveling I have felt extremely comfortable packing the SSD arround, I got a small protective case and have had 0 issues with my device with all of my travels. Transfers seemed extremely fast from my s22 and 25 ultra device.

The encryption software is awesome as well as the durability. Transfer speeds are fast and the slim profile makes it convenient to travel with.

My portable Samsung drive has always been by my side whether in my bookbag or my satchel it's always ready to go the material it's made from is both light and durable and the connectors are solid. I've had mine over two years now and it's still kicking strong and looks to last me years to come. Great durability amazing encryption capabilities and overall a great partner during my day to day. It's ability to transfer large amounts of information and still stay cool are amazing as well. I can easily transfer 1tb within a couple of hours and it'll still stay thermally cool. Best with the PS5 super fast compared to the others

So I love the storage it, is durable I can travel with it easily. Transfer is super easy.its one that stays cool when things get hot. An the encryption is acceptable.

With this portable ssd drive, I can "clean" my phone of the photos so I have more memory to do other things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my T7 SSD 2TB in 2024 to transfer and hold all of my musical audio. As an independent artist, transferring files and saving them is VERY important. Not only do I have enough space (for now) but the ablity to customizable file names, it having slim form factor, durability, having a type C port and not getting hot when transferring files has all been a plus. Made different situations with large files alot easier to manage than other SSDs i used before. Definitely one of the most reliable piece of tech I own today.

Turned out I was downloading all of my tracks and albums. The total was 51 GB. Hit one button and it dumped all of the downloaded content to external then all of the content was hearted as favorites. Samsung phone A35 then had 51 GB of internal memory and worked like a new one. I didn't lose any songs as they were in phone and also to external hard drive.

Their abilities are E exceptional aswell, I take them everywhere. Wherever I travel, I use it mainly for my phone for travel for going to family and or friends homes, as a guest to share a complete 4 player video game experience for all my emulator systems and games from Nes to Ps3 to Even Ps4 Everything the quality of the save data as in resolution in quality for the emulators, videos, movies, pictures and everything download speeds and upload speeds.
