My New Satechi SM3 Keyboard

I did have to go online to review instructions as those supplied were unclear.I am however, having trouble getting the M1 Mouse to work - working with email support to attempt to resolve.

I couldn't get a lot of the Windows keys to behave like Windows keys. Still seems stuck on Mac behavior.It's enjoying an early retirement in the parts closet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried a few mechanical keyboards lately and each one had the cursor keys in different places along the bottom row, either too close to the rest of the keys to have a uniform layout look or slightly under them. This caused many mis key work and my hands just didn't want to learn. This keyboard has the familiar layout that works well with what I am used to. It would be nice to disable the function keys and not have the blinking escape key, it could stay lit as an indicator or maybe another led somewhere, the blinking is distracting. I do like the auto off and on, it just got a bit to get used to. And the fun patterns are a nice distraction during the day

It’s made typing and working fun 😂At home, I love the ability to quickly switch between devices. Having both a laptop and a desktop, the multi-device setup was perfect to narrow my desk down to one keyboard. The tactile responses are pretty good in terms of volume. Not as loud as other keyboards but also not obnoxious. Overall very happy with the SM3!

Platform is slim. Good tactile keys. Nice sound. Lighting options take care of everything I need (and look pretty cool). Like that’s has a USB stick for stuff you don’t want to use Bluetooth in. Solid choice.
