About this item

Highlights

  • Fur that bristles with realistic texture…hauntingly translucent spines down the lion's back…can you feel the shiver coursing through you?
  • Part of the Eldrador® Creatures collection from Schleich, where creatures from the realms of Lava, Stone, Ice, Jungle and Shadow are locked in a mortal battle for the Super Weapon.
  • What drew the Shadow World into the battle? How did it remain hidden for so long? What terrifying creatures dwell in that realm? The story goes only where your imagination takes it.
  • Built to withstand Lava Monsters and Ice Dragons…not to mention backpacks, school lockers, and playgrounds.

Description

Was it him? The Shadow Lion from schleich® ELDRADOR® CREATURES is well camouflaged in the jungle or in the garden hedge thanks to his dark coat color. Which is pretty handy, because it makes it easy for him to sneak up on his prey. Or scare your sleeping brothers and sisters and run off happily afterwards. Unlike his close relatives, the lions, this elegant feline predator likes to be alone instead of hunting in a pack. But he always loves to hang out with you. Especially if you scratch his belly from time to time. Just listen to him purr!

    Such a cool lion!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got one at Barnes and Noble a few weeks ago and was blown away by the quality! This lion is so cool and looks even more impressive in person- for example, it has purple 'eyeshadow' around its eyes that isn't super visible in the photos! Well-made, really cool design overall, and the translucent shadow tail and spine are ALSO cool! Love this series and have already bought another- looking forward to building an Eldrador family!

    Cool Figure for Tabletop RPGs

I bought a couple Shadow Lions for use in tabletop RPGs. The Shadow Lion is big and durable and the spikes along the back are cool.

My favorite Eldrador figure to date!

I am so happy to finally have gotten my hands on this stunning lion! The moment I saw the 'shadow' collection I knew I needed this guy and like all Schleich products he did not disappoint. His detail work is breathtaking and his raised back/tail make him the perfect lionish figure! As a kid I would have lost my mind if I owned him and even as an adult it's insane how cool this figure is! My goddaughter also thinks he's the coolest and always wants to use him when she's playing!
