Have used this unit for a few years, and it has worked perfectly.... until now. Needed to do some laminating, unit does not want to turn on. I see several other comments for the same problem. I always store this in the original box with all the packing materials. It is unacceptable that this no longer works.

I laminated 3 things then while I was printing the next sets it went in to the flashing green ready and will not work anymore. I used it last year no problems very disappointing as now I have to spend more money.

I’ve only had this machine for a month now. I’ve used it a handful of times already. So far this machine works wonderfully. My husband and I are having so much fun laminating our projects! I wish I saw the review first because I would add electronic insurance.

I have had the laminator for about 2 years and only use it at the end of the school year for a couple things. I used it yesterday for about 10 sheets. Today it simply will not turn on. I have seen this in several other reviews too! Did anyone find a solution?

Worked great until it didn’t. I have the same complaint as others- we use this often at work and one day it just stopped working. I found I had to hold down the power button long enough for the machine to get hot (the only way it would stay on is if I held down the button for maybe 5 minutes, then fed the item I was laminating through) it ended up having lots of bubbles-which it never had done that. But once I fed that first paper through, the machine stayed on and I could utilize it as before and it would stay on. The second time I fed something through, there was no bubbles, but there were lines. Super disappointing because of how often we use this!! Now, we are on the hunt for a better brand

I was soooo excited to get this laminator for Christmas! It had a super weird smell when I turned it on that I thought would go away, but it never did. It made my entire house smell so much I wouldn't even use it when my kids were home. And then about 2 months ago it just stopped working. It doesn't turn on at all, and when I reached out for help I was told to be sure it was plugged in. I just wanted something for simple projects. What a bummer.

I absolutely loved this when I first got it about a year ago. It was so easy and worked great. I have used it maybe 5 times for small projects. Today, I try to turn it on to use and it will not power on. It should last much longer than 5 uses. Very disappointed.

I tried turning my laminator on one day and it wouldn't light up/turn on. I thought maybe it was the outlet in my classroom, but when I tried in a different area it still wouldn't turn on. Such a bummer! I loved having a laminator in my classroom so that I could quickly laminate things without going to our school work room and waiting until the large laminator warmed up (30-45 min). I probably used this laminator once a week and only for smaller jobs.

I've bought two of these, both quit working within a year of light use. Both have quit working. I am a teacher. I only use this in my room for last minute or occasional use. I use the big machine in the workroom for the bulk of my laminating.

I only used it about 10 times and it stopped working! I had bought this in advance for my classroom, and it’s not returnable anymore. I wish I could get my money back. I read the manual and nothing. It just stopped working completely, won’t turn on.

Just received this laminator. Used it yesterday, worked fine. Today I plug it in and turn it on. Ready light never appears, but then laminator shuts off completely (I assume it overheated). This is the second time this has happened; I returned the first laminator a couple of days ago. The experience is unsatisfactory. The instructions don't say anything about preventing overheating, and neither does the website

I bought this laminator at the start of the school year last year, since my kids were going to remote it felt like a good idea to have a laminator on hand. I have used it a handful of times or less. Today, I went to laminate a chore chart I made for my youngest and it won't turn on at all. I know it was a fairly inexpensive product, but it's annoying. Especially seeing a lot of reviews similar to mine.
