Description

Q: Does this bar put enough pressure against the door to keep the door pressed against the trim? I want to use it not for security, but simply to push an interior door against the trim to keep hallway air and light from seeping in around the door?

    Security found!

    I love how easy it was to install this door security bar, and the way it made me feel at ease. I always wonder if anyone could just push their way in to my home but not with this door bar. I have arthritis and was still able to install it on my own. I plan to take it with me to hotels for peace of mind as well. This may be a good solution to secure doors from intruders at offices and schools. Handy and versatile.

    Stopped intruder!

    Protected me from forced entry!

    They work great! I bought two door bars (one for the front door and one for the slider door) just in time because a couple days later, a man about 200 lbs. tried forcing his way into my home though the front door and it kept him out! Who knows what he would have done if he had gotten in. Highly recommend these door bars for safety. They’re easy to use and light enough to carry.

    Flimsy band holding the alarm.

    I bought 2 less than a year ago. The bands that hold the alarm didn't last a month, very thin and flimsy. I ended up securing the alarm with heavy duty rubber bands. Now the alarm doesn't work on one bar.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a parent can be scary, all you want is what's best for your kids. I love this. We use it at night to add a little extra comfort to our family. It goes under the door knob at ease, and can be adjusted to reach the height of your door knob. The bottom has grips that keep it tight in place, and it's really hard to make it budge. Between our normal locks and this it lets us rest easier knowing they'd have to struggle to get in and by then we can address the situation. It's also great for vacation trips in hotels as it doesn't damage the door and can help you feel safer.

    Peace of Mind

If my partner is gone for the night or even multiple nights this makes me feel so much more secure. It was really easy to install alone, and it feels strong & sturdy. I want to order another for my back door, too. I used to just put a chair under the door knob and this feels way more reliable.

It adds extra security to your front door and it also prevents someone from kicking down your door. I also like that it's collapsible so you can bring it with you when you stay in a hotel or airBNB.
