Three decades ago, Selena Quintanilla's iconic and chart-topping album 'Amor Prohibido' made history by being the first Tejano album to reach #1 on Billboard's Top Latin Album Chart. This achievement gifted Selena the recognition of becoming the second female Latin artist in history to top the chart, while simultaneously being the first female Latin artist in history to chart a "non-crossover" recording on the Billboard 200. To celebrate the anniversary, the album has been newly remixed and remastered. This marks the first time the album will be available on vinyl.
