Q: Does anyone else have a problem playing

A: Yes. I bought this vinyl and it skipped pretty badly through the first song ( I wanna hold your hand ). I thought maybe it needed to be cleaned so I cleaned the vinyl and my needle. No luck it still skipped. It skips a couple more songs throughout the album on both sides. So I returned it and got another one and the second vinyl is exactly the same. I guess it's a manufacturing defect at this point. Even bought at different target stores to see if it was just one store.

Meet the Beatles Mono vinyl
The Album itself is great, obviously, it's The Beatles. The problem is a manufacturer defect. I bought two different vinyls from two Target stores and both if them Skipped pretty badly.

MEET THE BEATLES!
The most important record in US music history. This is the album that introduced Americans to The Beatles. It still sounds fresh and vibrant. I can only imagine the feelings my father and others had when they dropped the needle on this one in 1964. It must have hit them like a missile! 60 years later and we are still talking about this band and listening to their music. It's incredible they have stood the test of time. That's a testament to their impact and their greatness.

Bought this and it sounds way better than my original 1964 pressing. I have read a lot of reviews about these records skipping and it is not the record, it's the turntable that people are playing this record on. Some of the low end turntables cannot handle the punchy bass.

Love this record.
I was a bit weary getting this as the reviews state their copies skip quite a bit. My copy was fine no skips and sounded great. Nice loud and clear absolutely great Pressing. I have a Audio Technica ATLP120XBTUSB turntable with a AT-VM95SH stylus.

Really wanted this to be good The original album my mom bought in the 60's plays better.
Three copies and each one was defective. The songs skipping and there are clearly black lines on the album.

Horrible do not buy!!!
I received 2 of the vinyls as a gift and both skipped and were unlistenable, I was able to make an exchange for one but that one also skipped!!! My record player is completely fine and functional. The stores was not able to help us with a return with the other one they suggested calling targets customer service and they weren't able to provide a refund and neither was the company, I can't believe they're selling defective records

Great addition for Beatles fans.
I was somewhat reluctant to buy this record, knowing how bad my original US versions sound. I only keep them for collection. So this was a real surprise - sound quality is excellent! You can still hear shortcomings of the original US second-generation master tape, compression and eq, but they were minimized, and clarity and naturalness are simply first-rate. In addition, record is flat, and has no distortion, clicks or pops. Blue vinyl adds to experience. I wish Target had the rest of these remastered albums as Target exclusives.

Defective and Skips
Record skips. Exchanged it and it was still the same issue. I have 2 record players and multiple vintage and new records. No issues whatsoever with the other records/player. It’s the vinyl. I do not recommend purchasing. Should have read the reviews before purchasing.

Ours kept skipping. We replaced the first album, thinking that there was something wrong with the pressing, but the second album that showed up is doing the same thing. The record player that we are using has played older vinyls, so I’m not in the best condition, without any issue. This is the only album that we have had trouble with skipping on.

Too Compressed
Beautiful blue vinyl that is marbled when you hold it up to the light. The only complaint I have is the uneven volume level of the mastering. Some tracks are really hot and compressed while others are not.
