Selena - Ones (Target Exclusive, Vinyl)

The metallic material of the cover art is absolutely gorgeous. The picture disc's are outstandingly beautiful.

The vinyl was skipping around few part on some music, but shows no scratches and clean on the surface.

This release could've been way better. The music, of course, is awesome. The print on the LPs gets a pass, but I would've preferred just a standard 180g black vinyl with a special edition small booklet insert that would include notes for the songs (a little history for each), rather than a poster. This way, (1) the skipping issue probably would've been avoided; and (2) you get to enjoy the songs more as you read and listen. As other reviewers noted, the skipping on the LP is a hit and miss. Overall, a decent collection if you get it on sale.

The sound quality is unbelievable.

I love all of the songs on this special edition Selena vinyl. However, both records continually skipped. All of my other vinyl records play perfectly on my record player these are the only two records in my entire collection that skip. I then decided to look up the reviews and this is when I realized I was not alone with this issue. It appears there is an issue with these records perhaps it is hit or miss and I and several others were the unfortunate ones to get records that were skipping. The records looked imperfect condition as they were brand new no scratches, there must be something else interfering with a smooth playback perhaps it's in the material they used to print the images on both sides of these records? After seeing the many reviews of people getting a second record only to find out that one also skips I have decided to look elsewhere for a collection of her hits. I hope Target fixes this problem because this is a very special collector piece that I really wanted to add to my collection.

Sounds good to me. Wonderful sleeve! The discs… don’t love the backside with the printed track lists. The tracks are listed on the sleeve…

Cannot play through a single song without skips. It’s nearly unplayable (especially the edges of both discs). This hurts especially for “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” and “Como la flor”. Otherwise would have been a great buy

I was so excited to get Selena’s record! My first record was skipping so much! I went back to exchange it and my second one skipped just as bad! Suck this did not work out.

I bought this record twice, first one skipped like crazy!! Luckily I was able to go in and exchange it. Unfortunately the second one skipped as well. Returned it again but i was super disappointed that it didnt work out for me. 🥲 I love Selena but decided not to try for a third time));

I have been lucky enough to get a good copy of this vinyl! Mine plays perfectly, no skips nor no bad sound quality. I love it! Perfect for my collection.

Straight out of the package, into the record player, it was skipping. Sucks that I wasn’t able to return it in the store so had to call customer service for my refund.
