Q: Why is this a download code inside a case instead of a normal cartridge inside? It’s a waste to package and ship something that can be sent using email.

Great game for people who understand what they buy.
Game is great. The reviews on here are not. You blame Target and Nintendo because you lack basic reading and comprehension skills when buying a product. It says on the box what you are getting. All of these title are available on the eShop. The only thing not available is common sense. Shame, that is.

Shame on Nintendo! Wasted packaging & shipping
Worst unboxing experience. No cartridge. Just a piece of paper with a download code. I already waited a week for shipping a useless case and paper and I need to wait again for it to download overnight. Shame on Nintendo for such waste. Don’t sell a case with a code inside. Just sell the game in the eShop or as digital download with email codes on Target.
