Works great. This gadget helped me put up these Christmas lights on my pine tree. Which is quite tall. It’s family picture time outdoors. Merry Christmas!

Zero stars. I wish I could get my money back. I watched the videos multiple times. The clips snapped so I ran out of clips, they were poorly made and couldn't even hold the lights without falling. Needless to say I will be using a ladder which makes this a complete waste of time and money.

I'd give this 0 stars if I could. Waste of time- money and energy. Did not work at all. Extremely frustrated

Impossible to get a clip and a light up at the same time. The weight of the light string flips the clip out of the holder. Put the clip up on its own, and impossible to get the light string in it from a distance with the light string attachment. Not even successful with one single clip. Absolute hot garbage. At least the package is also designed to make it unreturnable once opened.

Makes putting lights on the trees outdoors so much easier!

It was very easy to use and worked just like it needed too. We added all the clips to the gutter and roof line then added the lights. Very easy and very happy!

It's really hard to put on. It would be so much easier to climb the ladder and put these up. After spending 45 mins on each one we came outside the next day they had fallen off.

It took a while for us to figure out how it worked initially. but once we did we were able to create beautiful holiday lights on our own saving us a ton of money!! For a whole house roofline took us like 45 mins and we are both older people

I have a two-story house and to reach the ceiling above the stairs to get cobwebs is impossible but not with this. I was able to take a duster mop head, screw it on there and clean something that has driven me nuts for over two years! I have absolutely no trouble putting up my Christmas lights on a very old house with some rickety trim and the best part, taking them down. I wouldn't decorate for Christmas because I can't go up and down a ladder but I'm able to put up Christmas lights now thanks to this device. What a wonderful item!

This is the most terrible design I’ve ever seen for these particular items. I bought a product similar to this back in 2016 and I feel like it is the best design but like an idiot I did not buy a bunch of extra clips and since they change the design of the clips every year. I am enforced to buy the new version. I’m still waiting for the original version to come back with the screw top.

I found it easy to use on gutters (haven’t tried on shingles yet, even removing the pole from the clip if you follow the directions of turning it to the right. I did not clip bulb onto the clip, but just attached the clips to the gutter and hung the strand of lights on top of the clip. It was easy once I got the hang of it a few clips in.

Tried getting my second story lit up this year competing with the neighbors. Realized a fear I never knew I had, extension ladders. Through some online research, I found this product. I reached out to the company with a few questions before purchasing, they quickly responded to my questions. I decided to give it a try, and I am thrilled! My wife is so happy with our light display this year, and how we now rival neighbors who hire companies to hang their displays. One you get used to the system, install is very simple. Highly recommend! Told many neighbors who were impressed as well! Great product and great company!!

Do yourself a favor and save a lot of frustration, curse words and questionable behavior in-front of your neighbors by not purchasing this. Just no. Trust me. Spend 15 more dollars on the other kind from Lowes. It worked like a charm. For reference, I was attempting to hang icicle lights on a straight gutter on my house while standing on the ground, nothing fancy or crazy. The clips in this kit are poorly designed and don’t hold the lights secure and good luck trying to get the clip to stay on the pole when trying to snap it on the lip of the gutter. So if you do feel up for the challenge and don’t heed my advice then definitely buy extra clips. These clips pop right off the gutter with even the slightest movement if you kind of get them to stay in the first place. I managed to get four in a row after an hour of trying every way possible besides getting a ladder and snapping them by hand which I think defeats the purpose? I ever so gently attempted the fifth clip while holding my breath and pop, pop, pop, pop… entire string on the ground and clips flying everywhere. I had every intention of returning this item the minute the store opened but unfortunately I must go retrieve it from the woods first after it “accidentally” slipped out of my hands. I’ll just chalk it up as a loss and try my hardest to get the version of 12 days of Christmas where the man is screaming about “stringing up the lights” out of my head. If you enjoy a few hours of cussing and questioning product design and flimsy materials- this is for you! The price printed on the package was $24.99 and it was sold for $29.99. We needed to decorate a 20 foot of gutter line we couldn’t reach with a ladder. We placed maybe 10 clips in 2 hours. We broke 15 clips, and lost others in our gutter and on the roof. The pole is flimsy, clips break, there is no easy way to release the clips. We tried to do another section and gave up. Complete disaster.

Waste of money! Tried the Pam spray and I was able to hang the clips. But when I tried to hang the lights the clips fell off. Maybe not for our style of gutter, but I was hopeful.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! First of all this stupid thing will not clip to your gutter. As soon as u try to put ur lights up the plastic clip snapped. I would say this product is only for putting lights up on high trees THATS IT do not be fooled by this product

I love to put up lights but for the last 1/4th of my lights I have to use a ladder and I honestly hate it (I have to lean it over a hedge, the ground is all uneven, and I don’t great balance on a ladder) but this 100% saved my sanity! The pole stretches long enough and the head holds the lights tight enough so I can just slap them on my house! Also made taking them down so easy! If you hate using a ladder (like I do) I can’t recommend this enough!!!

It works okay. Getting the clip on the gutter was fine but it’s hard to get the clips off the pole. Also I’m not sure how to remove the clips at the end of the season. Also Doesn’t work on the eaves. There’s another brand that claims to work on the eaves that might of been better at another store.
