Skil Jigsaw, 6 A, 120 V AC JS314901

Great saw. Not much on working with wood. This is a great tool to have to fine tune corners and edges. Love it!

Wry impressed with skil right now. I recently bought the jigsaw because I love the router by skil and wanted to try out more of their tools. The jigsaw is great too. I’ll definitely buy more from this comps. They are making quality items at an affordable price.

The Skil 6-amp jigsaw works great. I like the light feature and the rubberized grips. I also like how it has no trouble cutting a curve through a 2" X 4" or 2" X 6".

This saw is more than capable of helping you to get your vision into reality. Also it’s a great addition to my Skil cordless jig saw.

Purchased 6/19/24 - loved it until it just died. It hasn’t even been 5 months. Bought it for my husband for our home remodel. Absolutely loved it compared to our older jig saw. Went to use it the other day and it just died. Light turns on but that’s it. I saw other reviews that seem to have the same issue.

Purchased this jigsaw to cut some flooring that I was installing in my kitchen. It made it through 1 1/2 boards before it shut off and stopped working.

I haven't bought a new jigsaw in 40 years and was pleasantly surprised when I bought this one. It has 3x the power, a light, and a blower. Changing the blade is a snap and I have absolutely no regrets. I hope it lasts as long as my last one!

Upgraded my 40-year-old jigsaw. This is a well-engineered saw. Very happy with construction and ease of use.

Would have given 5 stars but box only came with bi-metal blade; no wood blade. Bought a set of blades. Tool is very easy to use and cuts great. The light helps keep you on track.

I've used it multiple times and it has been a great addition to my toolkit.

OK except shoe is not parallel to blade. No instructions in manual about how to adjust. I used a very good clamp on edge guide and the saw tracked off by 1/8" in 24 inches of cut. Can't find any instructions for adjustment in manual. This adjustment should be a part of design or otherwise the tool is faulty.

The saw works very well. Very strong and the halo light around the blade is a fantastic feature. I recommend to anyone!

As with all my Skil tools, this one is reliable, fast, powerful, accurate and easy to use. It seems rugged and well built. It was very well priced for what it is, and much less than the less powerful, more awkward-to-use cordless models. I mean, how often do I use a jigsaw that it has to be cordless? The corded model made so much more sense to buy. Finding good, thick blades (long ones, too) that are less prone to bend are not easy to come by. At a certain point, a table-mounted scroll saw may be easier to use for bendy cuts. My work isn't that complicated, but one needs to obtain a good set of blades to use with the Skil jigsaw.

Good tool . I was looking at the battery one but for my personal use opted for the electric one . One arm bevel adjustment is great as well as the orbital choices .
