Skip Hop Moby Smart Sling 3-Stage Baby Bath Tub

Love this tub! The hammock insert is perfect for my newborn and he doesn’t slide anywhere during the bath. There is a plug at the bottom to drain the water. Would definitely recommend this tub!

The water in the tub remains stagnant although I remove the opening . The water flow out is very slow since the height to the floor is very small. I think the height to the floor should be increased little bit so that water flows out easily

This bath tub works for us, I would recommend it for the year we will need it for!

Not friendly for long babies! I loved this tub from 0-3 months but our baby is long born at 21 inches. He quickly outgrew the length of the sling at stage 1 and was not quite ready to be sitting up for stage 2. And even now with extreme head control for 3.5 months, he does not fit into the sling when sitting so just looks uncomfy. Wish there was another in between option.

There is nothing I hate more than when a great company ruins the experience of receiving a great product because of stupid packaging decisions. Seriously. I just received the skip hop bathtub (grey whale tub) and this item comes in plastic with instructions and a "tag" zip tied to it, so the impossible to remove stickers PLACED ON BOTH SIDES are completely unnecessary and insanely frustrating. I'm sure it's nothing some goo gone and elbow grease can't handle, but what pregnant mama needs to be dealing with that? Product is fine.. good even.. it's a basic tub at a good price point that is cool to look at and seems like it will do the job as intended, but right now it's sitting with messy, half peeled off stickers waiting for when I have the time to scrub them off.

Love this tub! My baby is so happy at bath time and enjoys splashing around safely. Easy to clean up and hang on side of shower wall to dry.

I really like this tub. However I do wish the bottom had grips. It tends to slide around without something underneath it. The adjustable cloth is hard to adjust. I have broken many fingernails trying to remove the insert.

Great purchase as a first time mom! It’s very comfy for baby and was definitely worth every penny! Very easy to clean after each use you can wipe down the tub and you can put the hammock in the washer after each use (or after a couple of uses if you can’t after every use) but definitely hang dry hammock after each use and it’ll be ready for the next day! People complaining about mold are just nasty and not taking care of it properly there’s no reason for it to get moldy…

Love that it works for so many different stages, my baby is 6 months and we’re still using this! Great quality and I like that it has a little drain plug at the bottom. The only thing I will say is you need to really pull on the clips to change the position of the mesh (I was scared that I was going to rip the mesh/break off the clip) however it did loosen up after time

I read so many reviews about the sticker being on the inside of the tub I was unsure about purchasing especially because it was a same day delivery item and I wouldn’t be able to see it before buying. Suprsingly enough upon receiving there weren’t any stickers on the inside, they were all on the outside. I don’t know if this is something they changed after all the reviews but I was grateful to not have to go through the process of getting it off. Having had it for almost two months and it never getting moldy, hang to dry the tub and sling separately, soak and wash in hot water and vinegar at least once a week . The only reason I have four stars is my daughter not quite 3 months old and 13 pounds. She needs the sling in the furthest reclining position because she doesn’t have full head control yet, but she’s long enough to reach her feet to the edge and bangs them a lot because she gets excited in the bath.

I put this bathtub in my registry and was happy to with it for the first 2 months. Issue 1) the handle broke month 3 Issue 2) 3 to 4 months now the warning labels (stickers) are coming out and all over my baby. I don’t know how to remove the labels and I’m afraid for my baby’s sensitive skin. Issue 3) stage 2 is not safe as it does not stay in place and baby keeps sliding.

It has been 3 months since we have been using it and even though following the cleaning instructions insert started to stink and got moldy. So very disappointed.

Literally just want to write this review to talk about the stickers, why did they have to be so hard to remove? For the price, pls put stickers on there that are easier to remove lol like the adhesive wont come off and i tried for 30 mins 🤷

I felt comfortable bathing my newborn in this tub. Originally purchased the Frida baby but this one held my baby much better. I read reviews about the mold growing on the sling so I throw it in the dryer for 15 mins after each use and let it air dry after. No mold yet and have had it for 4 months already.

I love this bathtub I wish I had bought it sooner if we have more kids we will definitely buy this one again my only complaint would be I wish they had it in pink!

The warning label stickers comes off in pieces and floated in my baby’s bath water. I had to scoop out the pieces of paper in bath water. I eventually, did my best to rub off all the sticker paper, but it left an ugly sticky residue on the inside of the tub walls. I couldn’t remove the sticky residue. The company should have went with waterproof warning labels. When I transitioned from newborn to the sitting position sling, the sling would unroll and didn’t provide enough support. I found myself going back to the newborn sling or supporting my baby with one hand. I also didn’t like the tabs used for the newborn sling inside the tub. When my baby outgrew the newborn sling and when he went up and down, I noticed it sometimes scrape his back and butt. I like that it converts from newborn to toddler stages and has a hook to hang the tub to dry. One star.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say this tub works well but isn’t as convertible as expected. I never had mold like others claimed they got but hung it to dry right after our baths and it was always dry for the next bath and never stayed wet. Detaching the sling hooks to go to the next stage is tough and was not very ergonomic to do at all. My real problem is stage 3. The “grip” stripes they put on the bottom do NOT do anything. My daughter has been sitting independently for nearly two months but she floats and topples over on the tub alone. I lay the sling on the bottom for grip and she has no issues that way. But just annoying considering I thought I was done with the sling.

Not good for in between age. My son is 4 months old, 19lbs. Too big for the top click setting. I need the rolls to soak. The bottom click setting he slips from side to side and slip down into the tub. Maybe I'm missing something? I have to hold him the entire bath time or constantly re adjusted so he doesn't drown. I'm too scared to even turn away for a second. I've had this tub for a monthish. I'm going shopping for a new one today. Maybe tub 3 will be the winner.
