  • A: Each frame has it's own unique email that photos can be sent through. For security purposes, each sender's email needs to be approved by the account admin. Once that step is completed there is not a limit to how many people can be approved and send photos!

Q: Are photos kept in the cloud IF the frame dies or do we lose all uploaded photos? Can we see all the photos someone else in the family has uploaded to the email address linked to frame ?

    Esthetically pleasing, functionality lacking

    I really wanted to like my Skylight calendar but just could not justify the price for what it is. And I can justify a lot of things.. esthetically, it is very pleasing, loved the brass tones of the frame and the preset pictures. Functionally, I wish you could take off all the side menu items that you aren’t using (IE the concept of assigning chores to family members is dated and flawed as it takes away from any intrinsic motivation). I’m also pretty capable/tech savvy and I had trouble syncing multiple calendars. For the price, I wish I could have streamlined and taken off the menu items that I was not using. My kids asked if it played music which it does not, but that would make it more usable. I will hold out hope that improvements are made down the line to make this a better product.

    Don’t Bother

    I have bought 2 Skylight frames in the past 6 months and both have died. Both were second generation and the first ones lasted several years. Obviously the quality has gone down the tubrs

    I love seeing my photos and memories right at my desktop! Yet, I don't see a way to organize the order of my photos in line with the order I took my photos. Can you provide some instruction there? Also, a total photo count or indication of remaining storage capacity would be helpful as to note when getting full - & not have some deleted off automatically when the limit is hit.

    Love Our Skylight

    My husband and I both love this. Both newbies to Skylight. We are active seniors, so we have the calendar and are able to see our grandkids and family photos. I've also started using the recipe section. And it is portable, so when we leave for the summer it can come with us.

    Love the Skylight frame!

    My son gave us the Skylight frame as a gift, and we love it! It keeps us in touch with all of the grandchildren's activities. It's easy to set up and load photos, and I highly recommend it.

    Good organizational tool

    Easy to set up and start using. Wish I had the device when my kids were younger and managing many schedules. Based on the price of the device, I think the subscription is a crime, as the added features should be included with the device.

    Not good

    I loved this at first but has since stopped working. I did a reset and then talked to someone from the company and did a hard reset. It worked for a little while and then the frame just goes black again. It's unfortunate.

    Very nice, sleek look, however it would be great if it came with a free trial at minimum for the subscription. It would be even better if photos was not a subscription thing! That’s quite ridiculous. Spend 300 or more and can’t even have your photos on it unless you pay.

    Amazing product! Easy setup!

    This was the most seamless set up an installation ever! Everything came with clear directions, and it even had a drillbit. From start to finish it took me about 18 minutes to get it installed on the wall and working. I had set everything up on our calendars and phones in advance of it arriving and it literally just took a scan of a QR code and it was functioning perfectly. Why didn’t we do this sooner? I have always used dry erase calendars, but this is going to make life so much more efficient for our family!
