Slatted Step Stool - WildKin

I purchased this step stool to replace a plastic one that had broken. I really like this step stool. It's very sturdy, and it looks a lot nicer than the plastic ones. Even though there are no rubber pads on the feet, I find that it doesn't slip around too much on my hard floors. You could always put some of the stick-on rubber pads on the legs if you wanted extra security. It was a little hard to assemble. I think one of the screw holes wasn't placed correctly, and I had to spend a lot of time trying to get the screw too hold. But once I did get it put together, it's been great. I'm sure this will last for a very long time and be better value long-term than buying a series of cheaper plastic ones.

As mentioned in the previous review- three out of the 4 screws went in without a problem- Could never get the 4th in all the way - no matter how many times I lined up the inner thread peg. It is smaller and shorter than pictured. I wouldn't trust it for an adult or child- not sturdy or weighted to prevent tipping. I'm using it for an elderly cat- so it is perfect for my needs- but at the price I would have expect to not have to assemble it, thought is should be better quality- wish it was a USA made product.

It’s a big help because it helps them be independent on washing their hands with no adult help. It is very sturdy so also helps that you don’t have to keep a big eye on them. I do enjoy that it’s a good height to where they can also sit on it and put their shoes on. I would recommend this to someone who is potty training and needs a little help to make sure the littles wash their hands.

It seems durable and assembly. It was very easy. Only took me like five or 10 minutes to build. I like that instead of being flat and smooth on the top it’s slated to make it nonslip.

This step stool is strong enough to stand on without any problem. Also nice to use as a foot stool as well.

I purchased it for my father-in-law, who needs assistance with lower extremity dressing. It’s very helpful for him to lift up his foot when getting dressed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slatted step stool is well made, in sturdy quality, and pretty easy to assemble. The edges are rounded which are great for better protection from getting scratched. Good size surface and hold up tight. The only thing is I really hope it would be a bit taller. It didn't help very much with the 7" height especially for little ones who really need the build-up height as a step stool. Wish it would be around 10" tall.

The step was much smaller than we anticipated and therefore it has no physical use for us.

Couldn't get it assembled--one screw would not catch properly. Wouldn't have kept it anyway: rough surface would snag sock and hose, poorly aligned glued parts were unsightly. I expected better.

Once out together it is sturdy and attractive. I ordered two, both had little splinters that needed to be sanded before assembling them. The tool that comes with it, Allen wrench on one side, Philips head on the other, is inadequate. Just use a regular Philips head screw driver.
