SOG - Powerlite Mini Multi-Tool

This is my first SOG piece and I actually bought it FOR the corkscrew. In addition to all the usual EDC solutions, I like being the guy who can open a wine bottle in a pinch. And corkscrews have MANY other uses. So thank you for including it. The pliers and the hextool are amazing, too. This has quickly become the centerpiece of my EDC pouch.

No more Juice-tears. This thing has pliers just as big and functional yet in a lighter handier form factor. One handed opening of blades with aftermarket nubs. Belt clip and all the handy tools. SOG outdid themselves this time.

Use it literally everyday. Fits perfectly in front pocket and has way more uses than I originally thought. All tools perform as advertised and lock helps with peace of mind while using it.

I purchased the Powerlitre after I had two Leatherman Squirt PS4s that both failed in the same way: a plyer arm broke off under heavy load. The Powerlitre appears much more stout, though it is bigger. The plyer design is superior as all the force goes into a thicker part in the rear end of each arm which have been cleverly adapted into wire crimps. I am very satisifed with the Powerlitre, but I do have one gripe: the lack of a file. There are six tools in this design that I will use significantly less than I would use a file. I hope in the future SOG adds a file to the Powerlitre as that would make it the perfect EDC multitool for me.

Quality is even better than I expected. Built to last.

This is my favorite small everyday carry tool and one I frequently give as a gift. It's very well designed and the corkscrew is genuinely usable with a clever leverage design.

I bought this for my partner for Christmas, needless to say that even though he already had a sog multi tool, this was a gift he was thrilled with. I included the hex bits as well and he’s thrilled to have a separate one. He keeps his original in his backpacking gear, and right now, this one is in the tractor for winter and later it will go into the camper for summer time emergencies. Sog products are some of the best in the market. Durable, and very comfortable to use! I am and will remain a loyal SOG customer and fan!

It is very useful. I can tell it is well made. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a similar product.

Giving 4 mostly for the originality of the product. The quality matched the price point. I would pay more for a better quality, fit and finish. The pliers are excellent for their size. The lack of actual flathead is a problem. The quality of the alloy used for the existing flathead is subpar. It twists during the task it was designed for. The corkscrew and lip were entirely too tight. Maybe They’ll wear in. We’ll see. Otherwise, Great tool with no direct competition to SOG’s benefit.

This multi tool has everything you need and if this same model came in a big size I would buy it and recommend it to everybody

great multi-tool... compact in size and love being able to use this with wine bottles when people cant find their wine bottle opener.

Super little multi tool. High quality, strong for its size. Perfect size for backpacking.

I own quite a few multitool and this one is perfect for my EDC bag. Great size and the cork screw comes in handy. Everyone I let use it wants one.

It’s a little tank but the scissors don’t work (you press once and they get stuck closed) and it’s difficult to get tools out. A bit heavy to carry attached to pocket. It really needs a case for your belt. I like the bit driver holder design.

Everything seems to be high quality and functioning well, the only complaint is the scissors spring is too strong and its a hard to fully close the scissors when cutting.

Great design, I use several of the tools incorporated in this a lot more than I thought I would. Only thing that's a little aggravating is the tool unfolds in your pocket and tends to come out, if you are being active and wearing looser pants

Small but powerful. Great tool for my EDC loadout. Jaws are strong, and peripheral tools are precesion and totally useful.

Really a surprise that SOG made such a great tool for EDC! It is not a micro tool and still fit for everyday carry and the size of each tool has practically the right size to use. Corkscrew of course is the key highlight with a smart lever which definitely work better that those swiss army corkscrew with no lever. Last, but not the least, I like the way it close the plier that I don't need to press the plier nose before collapsing the arm.

Bought this for my wife as she has been needing her own EDC utility tool. She loves the smaller size and tools offered in the PowerLitre, especially the corkscrew.
