Sour sweet gone!

My new Christmas Candy go to!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shocked at how good these were. I’ve tried other fruity candy canes before and didn’t love them so I wasn’t sure how these would be. Honestly they’re exactly how you’d expect a hard candy version of sour patch kids to taste! The initial layer is sweet but tasty, but then it gets sour one you bite it! As a sour patch kid lover, these are definately this years Christmas candy go to.

Perfect candy cane alternative for those who don’t like peppermint or to add to a fun holiday cocktail! Despite a small break in the packaging all candy canes arrived in wholes. They’re hard enough to suck on but not tooth breakingly stiff. Quite delicious.

All the candy canes were packaged well and none broke so that is a plus. Only down side is that they contain artificial dyes instead of natural dyes.

Now, the candy canes are like any other one but with a touch of sourness and less sweetness. That's something that I love about it. However, I wished it was more sour because the current level does not do justice to the brand name. Other than that, it's amazing. I've eaten almost all of them, and plan on getting some in the future.

I know a lot of people don't love the classic peppermint candy canes so if you want to switch things up for some kiddos and they dont mind sour they would probably love these. Specifically the older kids if they like sour things. I crushed some up and put them on some caramel apples I was making and it was a fun candy apple take for the fall season. I bet you could even melt a few and dip the apples in it to really make a candied apple. Overall 10/10
