Do not buy this item. Instead of helping the kids float. It makes them go forward causing them to swallow water. This is a hazard product. Many say the same thing on this life vest.

If you have a thicker child the strap is way too tight due to it having the built in shoulders!! Says fits up to 55 lb but not the ones with the halter built in!!

Super cute. My kid was so excited to get it.

Runs very small. Weight range states up to 55 pounds. My kid is slim and tall at 45 pounds and chest circumference at 24 inches. The buckle was at the loosest possible length and still it was tight on her. Returning this item due to fit.

It’s great but it think the clasp cord is too short to accomodate all body shapes that fit into the weight requirements.

It works great! Was looking for something to give my daughter the confidence to get in the pool and it worked! She loves it.

Great purchase!! I was hesitant to buy it at first, but definitely glad we did! Such a lifesaver with our daughter by the pool. Other life fists don't fit her comment and the ones with the strap through the legs give her a rash. I didn't think this life is would work well with the lack of strap through the legs, but it is great! My daughter 2 but where's a four toddler. She weighs about 32 lb. She is on the smaller side for this vest. We have it tightened all the way up, the buckle around the back. Might buy more since we have a pool, peace of mind for us about the kids.

These are great but run very small! Barely fit my 38 lb preschooler and fit my 28 lb toddler snugly, at the largest setting.

bought one for each of my kids, my 4 year old is 41ish pounds and average size for her age, it was kind of tight on the loosest setting.

Cute, well-made and functions as it’s supposed to. I was confident my daughter would be safe in the water. However, the weight limit says this will fit kids up to 55lbs and it was almost too tight for my 47-pound daughter to wear. I was able to squeeze her into it, but had she been any bigger, I would not have been able to fasten it.

Does what it is supposed to do and my toddler loves it.

Three year old under 40 lbs and the strap was too small for her. Disappointed and returned.

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter because she was scared of being in water and she loved it. She was brave enough to swim by herself. It worked very well to keep her above water and floating.

This is a great puddle jumper and it made my daughter excited to get in the pool. The graphics on the fabric are beautiful too.

Awesome product for children

The mermaid design appeals to our 2 year old. The vest gives great buoyancy without fear of tipping forward. The shoulders are comfortable, the arm floats allow freedom to kick legs and move arms. It is Coast Guard approved and Speedo quality.

The buckle strap is too short. My child is within weight limit (45 lbs) and though I extended the strap to the end, it is still too tight. Will have to return.

We loved the print on this life vest. My daughter is 3 and this was comfortable on her. Fit well and she seemed to love swimming in it. Great option, I would recommed.
