  • A: It’s actually not recommended at all because it doesn’t help once the child is learning to swim because it keeps them straight up instead of the proper swim posture. There’s one where the floatation is on their back and aids with helping learn to swim.

    This kids life jacket is overpriced compared to similar brands, and it’s missing a key safety feature — the extra safety button that prevents kids from taking it off on their own. Without that added lock, it just doesn’t feel worth the higher cost. Material also started ripping after a few uses. Disappointing

    This does not go up to a child at 55lbs. I got this for my 5 year old daughter while on vacation she is 40lbs on the smaller side for her age and it didn’t even buckle. The strap is barely adjustable.

    Not true to size. It runs small. It says up to 55lbs but my 38lbs son couldn’t fit in it. Too small on chest even with the whole strap stretched out.

    Too small for 31lb toddler

    This seems like it would be a nice swim vest, but like others described it is way too small. My daughter is 31lbs and this jacket is tight on her when it’s fully extended. I wanted to give it a try because she loves sharks, but we’ll have to return it.
