DANGEROUS
MY TODDLER WAS ABLE TO WIGGLE THIS OFF OF HIMSELF. (Yes he was within the weight restrictions) He got his arms out and then slid the body piece down. I immediately returned for the ones that have shoulder straps so that he would not be able to remove on his own. Luckily we were inside getting dressed when this happened but this is SO DANGEROUS

Does not hold them above water nearly as good as the Puddle Jumper & Speedo ones my daughter & neice have. Only gave 2 stars because they’re a cute design, but they really don’t help with the floating.

My child loved it!
My child typically avoids the water, but the Spidey design interested him. Once he was in, the vest made him feel confident and secure enough to stop clinging to me and try “swimming” on his own. A child wearing this will still need to attempt to swim at least a little in order to stay afloat and adult needs to be supervising close by. He spent hours in the pool, which has never happened before. I highly recommend!

My son loved his Spidey floatie. He was so excited to wear it and didn’t take it off even when playing outside the pool- it’s that comfortable. He was so happy to be able to float around and “swim”. Bad Chafing BEWARE
I have purchased several floats like these in the past and have never had any issues. For some reason this one in particular has cause my son to get chafing on his ribs and his arms, both having skin tear. I didn’t take a picture of the ribs because I just assumed it was from being in the pool for 3+ hours. I was able to subside the rib chafing by having him wear a rash guard, but now the arm chafing happened and he’s in serious pain. He is 4 years old but certainly falls under the max age and weight limits. I would assume it’s the material used but as I said we have purchased swimways floats for years with my daughter who is 8 and we have one from last year that works much better. We love spidey but it’s going to have to go back, maybe it’s just a defect?
