Q: If my baby currently wears pampers size 4, should I size up or down? The size chart seems completely different than regular pampers sizes.

submitted by ED - 7 years ago
  • A: I would size up. I feel that they tend to run on the smaller side.

    submitted byKer1811 - 7 years ago
  • A: Honestly I was wondering the same thing. My daughter is 25.5 lbs wears size 4 pampers diapers. I am going to order the 3-4 size.

submitted bySteph - 7 years ago
  • A: We recommend using our sizing chart which is S 13-24 lb, M 20-33 lb, and L 31+ lb.

Q: The weight range on the image is different from the size tab. Which is correct?

submitted by Confused - 6 years ago
  • A: The sizes to choose from are numbers not letters so it still doesn’t make sense.

submitted byConfused - 6 years ago
  • A: Our new Splashers sizing, as reflected on the packages, is: S 13-24 lb, M 20-33 lb, and L 31+ lb.

Q: my son is over 50 lbs would the large fit him?

submitted by Colorblue - 1 year ago
  • A: Thank you for your question. It's possible the diapers may fit, but they'd be uncomfortably tight at best. Tight diapers are more likely to leak and tear. We'd be glad to help you further. If you have any other questions, please give us a call at 1-800-726-7377. The Pampers Team

Q: My 4.5 month old only weighs 11 pounds. Will the small (starting at 13 pounds) be way too big? Nobody sells anything smaller :(

submitted by Ellie - 2 years ago
  • A: Thank you for your question, Ellie! We understand babies come in all shapes and sizes, so our products are designed to fit children a little outside the state weight range. It depends on your baby's build, but it's possible the small Splashers may fit an 11-pound baby. We'd be glad to help if you have any other questions. Don't hesitate to reach us by phone at 1-800-726-7377.

Q: what size is usually for a two year old?

submitted by Jackie - 2 years ago
  • A: Thank you for your question. A two year old is likely to use either size medium or large, depending on their weight. Size Medium is for children weighing 13-24 pounds and size Large is for children weighing over 31 pounds. We'd be glad to help you further. If you have any other questions, please give us a call at 1-800-726-7377.

Q: Will these contain Urine before getting wet? If I put my child in a swim diaper and put them in the car prior to swimming, will these leak like reusable swim diapers with urine?

submitted by Clueless parent - 2 years ago
  • A: Thank you for your question. Our disposable swim diapers are designed to keep mess out of the water without swelling up from absorbing too much fluid. We recommend using a regular diaper for car rides and putting the Splashers diaper on right before getting in the water. We’d be glad to help with any other questions. Please reach out to us when you can by calling 1-800-726-7377.

Q: Pampers, weight is not the only thing that matters. My baby has a big butt and wears size 4 pampers. Which size should I get? L or M?

submitted by CVB - 3 years ago
  • A: You're right - size isn't the only thing that matters. Fit and absorbency needs must be considered too. This is why the weight ranges of our diapers overlap. If your little one is big for their age, I'd recommend size Large in Splashers. Size 4 diapers have a weight range of 22-37 pounds and size Lare Splashers start at 31 pounds. The Large size will provide more coverage in back. If you have further questions, please call us at 1-800-726-7377.

Q: The size chart is for regular diapers (number sizes), but these run by letter sizes (S, M, L). Frustrating. What are the size guidelines for these swim diapers?

submitted by Snae - 4 years ago
  • A: We understand your frustration, Snae. Our Splashers sizing is: S 13-24 lb/6-11 kg M 20-33 lb/9-15 kg L 31+ lb/14+kg

I don't think many of these reviews understand what a swim diaper is. These are not meant to be worn outside of the water. They do not absorb any liquid, so yes...the pee will leak. They are meant to contain poop. Do not put these on for the car ride or stroller. No brand will contain the pee. These are not regular diapers.

I love that they aren’t bulky, but even when my kid doesn’t go in water, these diapers leak out the sides.
1 reply from Pampers Response team - 15 days ago
We're sorry to hear you are expeiencing leaks. Splashers swim pants should not be worn as a regular diaper or training pant outside of the water as they don’t provide the same level of absorption. The amount the pants will hold depends on the type and level of activity in the water, and the fit. Babies can outgrow the absorbency before they outgrow the fit of a diaper or pant, so the weight range on our packages is just a guide. Choose a size that does not sag or gape around the tummy or legs. We also know that at times the inner cuffs may stick to the inner lining of the pants or get tucked in around the top of your baby’s legs. We've found that running your finger around the waist band and cuffs sometimes helps. The leg cuffs should wrap around your baby’s legs and bottom like underwear. Please call us at 1-800-726-7377 for additional help.

Leaks

Leaks like crazy. It's not a diaper at all. My 8 month old did have them on for long. We only wet his feet. Wet to pick him up out of his beach chair and he was soaked in urine. Waste of my money.

So many accidents

1 out of 5 stars
Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend
KV - 5 months ago, Verified purchaser
Just purchased a brand new pack of these for our lake trip and playing in the water at home. So many accidents to clean up from these, it was almost like she wasn’t even wearing any diaper. It did not contain any urine. Wouldn’t recommend and will not purchase again. After 3 kids and purchasing swim diapers for years, I’m not sure if they changed their product or what. We don’t have an issue with any of their other regular diapers. Will be switching brands to try something else.
1 reply from Pampers Response team - 15 days ago
Our swim pants are specially designed for play time in the pool or water. Unlike regular diapers or training pants, they provide just enough absorbency and protection against leaks in the water, particularly BM leaks. They also won't swell like regular diapers because they do not contain the same absorbent gelling material (AGM). They are not meant to hold urine.

Pee spills out

The pee just pooled inside the diaper so when I went to change him it spilled everywhere. Not sure what a swim diaper is for if it doesn’t contain the mess.

I got these size 2 swim diapers for my then 3 month old. She’s 6 months now and the size still works! We were in the pool for quite a while today and notice she was relaxing in the pool rather still. I knew she had pooped. Ahhhhhh. What a relief to see these diapers hold up to their brand. Pampers. Quality, quality, quality. Breastmilk poop is yellow and runny. must say I am very pleased with these swim diapers. Very.

Got them last year at my baby shower and my now 11 months old was still able to fit the smalls that we got, she got the weigh chart on it. We were already at the water park and had already swam but as we were out of the water she peed through it, i changed it, but it did hold on the poo though she pooped before we got back in thankfully, but i dunno how well it would hold in poo if it were to happen while in the water

these diapers suck, they slide up which makes it difficult to get on and off especially if your child poops. they should really have velcro sides like all diapers do. they also don’t hold pee, it slips right out of the diapers and runs down your child’s leg. definitely will not be buying again
1 reply from Ninjamas team - 6 months ago
We're sorry to hear you are having leaking. Leaking can be a sign that the child has outgrown either the size or the absorbency so we recommend moving up a size. We'd be grateful for the opportunity to help you further. We hope you will find a moment to call us at 1-833-NINJAMA
