Carter Logan, Jim Jarmusch, and Jozef Van Wissem are SQÜRL, an enthusiastically marginal rock band from New York City who like big drums & broken guitars, cassette recorders, loops, feedback, sad country songs, molten stoner core, chopped & screwed hip-hop, and imaginary movie scores. We are an enthusiastically genre-free record label who likes to hold good bands hostage in a big blue room with no corners and record their music with no take-backs or do-overs. SQÜRL's experimental stage show and our desire to capture it are a match made in heaven for your ears and your turntable, and we're ready to prove it to you. To date, SQÜRL has released a series of 3 EPs with ATP/Recordings as well as music for the films THE LIMITS OF CONTROL and ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE, the latter with Jozef Van Wissem who has since joined the band for many live dates. We are glad to add to their discography with this brand new live record, recorded direct-to-tape in March of 2015.
