JAŸ-Z - REASONABLE DOUBT (CD)

I bought this album during the July 4th holiday. Today, 8/21/26, I finally decided to play it to check the quality. I cleaned it thoroughly. However, the first track on side A skips, and every track on side B skips as well. I was so disappointed I didn’t even want to play the second vinyl to hear sides C and D. This was the worst feeling ever.

Classic album, definitely felt like this album was the theme music to my life.

Jay Z continues to sale out his own people, but this album is great. Here is the pattern, Blacks call a strike on a company for the way they treat us and they will do a deal with Jay Z... Jay Z the new Jessie Jackson. This is the first purchase that I made from Target and until they go back and keep their word on how they treat minorities they better find some other great sale outs....

If I had known how widely available this record would be, I would have waited for reviews before pre-ordering. I thought all of the people complaining of record skips were using cheap turntables to play it. On my mid-range turntable this record was skipping right on the intro. Not only that, there are clear imperfections on the disc. To top it off, it's warped. Super disappointed, as I already didn't like the cover, but was happy to have a version to pick up in store, rather than risking shipping in Arizona heat. Save your money and track down the black vinyl version. Target needs to do better with quality control as many other reviewers are having similar issues.

Side A skips. I read a review that said it would skip, but still decided to purchase and there were visible imperfections. Went back to exchange, opened at Customer Service, and the new one also had imperfections. If this isn’t a deal breaker for you, go for it. For me, very disappointing.

Great service

Reasonable Doubt is one of the greatest albums recorded. The physical vinyl was a must in a world where physical copies are becoming more and more hard to find. Haven't open the package as I want to keep as a collectors item. The package was slightly damaged in the corners, but it didn't seem to break the records inside.
