Criminally good
Typing on it feels criminally good. Not “oh nice keyboard” good—more like “I suddenly have the urge to write a 40-page report, a fantasy novel, and a strongly worded email to my ISP all in one sitting” good. The tactile feel is smooth, clean, and just loud enough to let everyone nearby know you’re being productive (or at least pretending convincingly). And let’s talk about versatility. One minute I’m drafting documents like a respectable member of society. The next, I’m metaphorically hoisting the sails and pirating the high seas—purely in a fictional, totally legal, definitely-not-incriminating way—all powered by the sheer confidence this keyboard gives me. There’s something about the feel at your fingertips that makes you believe you can conquer spreadsheets by day and digital oceans by night.

General Feel & Hotswapping
I bought this keyboard a few weeks ago, and I am incredibly impressed with the value-for-money. The optical switches are a perfect match for my delicate typing style because of the sensitive keys. My previous keyboard keys started breaking after a limited time, so I am glad that this keyboard includes hotswappable keys. The possible customisation with the SteelSeries GG Engine finalised my purchase, due to the immense possibilities with macros, keyboard lighting and more.

Good
Positives: Keycaps feel great and the material quality is solid SteelSeries GG is nice Reaction time is insanely good Stabilizers are very well done Volume knob works and feels fine Overall build quality feels premium Negatives: It has onboard memory, but you can’t save a simple static single-color RGB profile to it Sound is extremely bad (subjectively) Replacement switches cost almost as much as the board itself Feet could be a bit stiffer when folding Keycap puller stored on the bottom feels unnecessary Volume knob placement is a bit awkward to reach Would you recommend this product to a friend? I’d say it depends. Technically, it’s solid, fast, and feels great to type on, but the poor sound, no proper onboard RGB, and the fact that you can’t choose your switch type at purchase make it hard to fully recommend.

Fast, Premium, but Needs Getting Used To
I’ve been using the Apex 9 TKL for about a month now, mainly for gaming but also some typing. The first thing you notice is how premium it feels. The aluminum top plate gives it a solid and high-end touch, and the keycaps feel durable. The cable could’ve been a bit softer and more flexible, though. The optical switches are insanely fast, honestly maybe too fast at times. I still occasionally press the wrong key even after a month, so it definitely takes some getting used to. Once you do, though, it’s super responsive for gaming. The RGB lighting is next-level, tons of customization options and even ready-made effects, which is fun to play with. The sound is pleasantly quiet, though my mic sometimes picks up the spacebar. Overall, it’s a premium and speedy keyboard that shines for gaming but might need a bit of an adjustment period if you’re coming from something slower.

Pretty Good Keyboard
The keyboard has a good amount of keyboards, but you should only spend the money of you are into competitive gaming. If you play a lot of pvp shooter games, this is a great keyboard. Only reason it got four stars and note five is that it isn't ergonomic.

fun colors! fun sounds!
I won this on a google play prize thing. It's great quality, much nicer than anything I've ever been able to afford myself. I love the colors and the clacking sounds when you type! I do wish it also had the number pad on the right side but beggars can't be choosers and I'd definitly recommend this brand to anyone in the market for a fun keyboard!

Great keyboard ruined by software
Keyboard itself is wonderful, feels good, works well and gives a very high quality impression. However I decided to return it, as any real change required the software to run in the background. Sorry, but I don't want this. If it was possible to save the settings at the onboard memory, I would have been very happy. But any real change to illumination requires the software to run in the background. So, great product, but ...

Excellent Keyboard
It is a really good keyboard with great features, especially with the steelseries app. Easy to use and to customize. The LEDs are bright and can be dimmed. Quality is excellent for the price point.
