I got this because I needed a cheap fliptop trash can for the bathroom tonhold in diaper smells better than the open bin we had. It turned out to be better than expected! The lid flips up allost a full 90 degrees which makes putting stuff in and chenging the bag sooo much easier. The foot pedal doesn't get stuck all the time like other cheap flip tops I've had. Great design, great product!

Broke with one day of using doesn’t close all the way.

Lid gets stuck when you open, so you still have to get down and manually close it… defeating purpose of a foot lever

New purchase but so far is working really well. Love being able to take out the inner can for easy trash removal. Lid keeps bathroom trash out of sight for guests. Inexpensive solution to try, neutral white.

Love how sturdy this little trash can is. We use it as a toddler trashcan and it’s been great. The removable inner bin & trash bag holding ring were unexpected surprises but make the trashcan super functional. We use simple human trash bags size A and it’s a perfect fit!

This is functional and does the job. It’s a true neutral white. It is a little flimsy and not super high quality, but like I said it gets the job done.

This is the perfect small wastebasket to put near a toilet - smooth white finish that will not show fingerprints. Nice inner bucket to hide liner edge. Good step on opening mechanism. Affordable and simple.

The Home Essentials step wastebasket is pretty nice. While not as sturdy as a metal wastebasket it's useful for my needs. It has an interior ring to hold a small sized trash bag in place, which is essential because I'm using it to scoop the cat box into. I preferred plastic for the convenience of more frequent washings. Haven't had it long, so can't speak about longevity, but for the price it's a good choice.

Cute, small, but good for a guest bathroom. Plastic but not flimsy, good for the price.

Very comfortable and easy to use

I do like this trashcan. It looks nice. It keeps odors in so no trash stench is in the air. It has a removable can within the can which makes disposing of trash and cleaning easier; however, there is a downside and that is when you are sitting on the toilet you can’t open the trashcan. I believe a lot of peoples’ bathroom trashcans are placed at the side of their toilet and the only way to open this can is to step on it. I don’t now about you, but I can’t bend my entire leg back that far while going potty. So things that I need to dispose of, I have to place on the bathroom counter until I’m done with my business. Then I can step on the pedal and throw away whatever I need to. Maybe you ask what is so bad about putting things on the bathroom counter (because it’s too difficult to get your fingers far enough under the lid to pull up manually)? Well, I am a woman and I still have monthly things happening and the last thing I want to do is have my pads anywhere but the trash. Plus, my son still uses baby wipes to clean his tush and the wipes I get aren’t flushable, so those need to be thrown away right away too. In fact, I originally had this in his bathroom, but he hated it so much that I traded my can for his. Now I know why he didn’t like it! But, it is a nice trashcan, keeps odors in, and keeps the dog out btw. So until the dog discovers that all she has to do to get dirty stuff out of the can is to step on the pedal, I’ll be keeping this. Plus, the price was right. PS - I have the white one.

Great little basic trash can. Fits a regular plastic grocery bag if you want to line it. I use it for wet diapers in my toddler’s room.
