Terrible design
It has a clear lid so all the trash is visible. When the pedal is pressed to open the lid, the inside can lifts up also. It is weird. I thought about keeping it and using it in the garage. However the inside can lifting was just weird to spend any amount of money for. I chose to spend a few more dollars to get the silver metal can in the same design. I use this trash can for a cat litter disposal can. I didn't want to spend the extra money for a diaper pail style cat litter can.

great can and a good price range.
these are a good size and perfect for our coffe bar but also would br great in bathroom or bedroom or office. the can has a nice foot pedal and the main bucket comes out so it can be used with or without a liner and would be easy to clean. i am really glad we bought this its well made and the color is netural. it is easy to use and easy to add a liner. absoutely worth the money for sure.

Convenient, but the underside pedal attachement is cheaply made & fails
I had one of these bins for a good year or so as a bathroom trash bin. I was initially very happy with it. After regular use, one of the tabs that holds the step portion on the bin snapped off, so I could no longer use the pedal. Since I liked this bin, I bought an identical replacement. Unfortunately, the pedal on the bottom is held on by an also poorly made plastic, which warped almost immediately. The pedal fell out of its slot multiple times a week until I gave up using it. With two of these trash cans failing within a couple months, I'm going to look for better options.
