Bags tear before use
You need to be extremely careful tearing these bags from the roll, because they often split vertically down the length of the bag. I wasted at least 20% of the package this way, no matter how careful I was. Would not recommend.

Classic product for everyday use

Glad is a great brand, consistent product and they work well. I liked that these were unscented because honestly the scented ones don’t really make a huge difference anyways. Overall 10/10 product for everyday use.

Excellent compost bags

Good quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that these bags can go straight into your compost! We are new to doing a compost so this make it a lot easier to throw kitchen scraps in something and just throw it all in! They seem to be good quality and haven’t ripped yet. I gave 4 stars because I Would love to have them have a handle so it’s easier to carry where I need to. They are not green like the picture. Color doesn’t matter but in case it did. Happy with the product

Perfect for the kitchen counter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My biggest pet peeve is putting something biodegradable into something plastic that will stop it from returning to the earth. So even though I do not have a compost system, I feel better knowing that my food scraps are going into something that will allow it to break down.

The quality is better than some other "Eco" bags I've tried and I feel like these are at least better than buying more single use petrol-based plastics.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to open, leak proof and make food organic waste collection easier to maintain I purchase these bags for my community organic compost collection program and they fit perfectly in the 2.6 gallon kitchen pool that the county provided. They are sturdy easy to use and no odor or fruit flies and make it easy to fill and toss in the larger organic tub for collection. I prefer these over the other ones and this is 10 purchase and 25 box later and I can't wait to get more

Solid trash bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are good multipurpose trash bags! I have been getting into compost lately, and these bags fit well over my compost bin. I also used it for the bathroom trash can. My only concern is that the bags do feel flimsy and like it might break, but that hasn’t happened yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these compostable bags when I know I will generate a large volume of compostable waste that won’t be handled well by my backyard system - like corn ears or watermelon rind. These are only compostable industrially - so there is no benefit if you don’t have industrial service available. Throwing them in a landfill does no good. They are strong and can hold a pretty large volume of heavy food waste. I can then toss the whole thing into my bin for industrial composting. I won’t use them very often but it is handy to have for big batch cooking or summer parties. I received these bags for free in exchange for an honest but incentivized review.

I quite liked these...

The material is similar to produce bags in California so I'm familiar with the texture and quite enjoy them. I never had a broken bag or leak when using these and that's a major plus. I see myself using these regularly! 😊

I love these bags for compost!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these bags!! Normally I use a ziplock bag and then I have to dump it out and not put the ziplock bag into my compost bin. But I love that these bags break down easily and I can just throw them into my compost then when they're full. I keep them underneath the cabinet in the kitchen I put all of our vegetable scraps anything that can be compost into the bag and I keep it wrapped up it doesn't smell or anything. I have put some grapes stems in there and they was poking the bag I will say that the bags do not tear as easily as a ziplock bag so that was a big plus. I plan to continue to use these bags and I suggest them to anyone who does compost!
