Stone Hill Ozark Hellbender Wine - 750ml Bottle

This is your go to red wine! A jammy dry red with a silky-smooth palate with lots of ripe red and black fruits and nice chocolate notes with a pleasant toasty oak finish. The nose boasts of blueberry, pomegranate, toasted coffee beans, roasted vanilla, cocoa, and a hint of black pepper. All varieties of grapes used in this ruby red blend are grown in the Ozark Mountain AVA (American Viticulture Area). Some of the grapes are aged for one year in oak barrels to bring out depth of flavors. This wine is perfect to accompany steak, pasta, burgers and before, during, or after a meal with good friends! A crowd pleaser since its introduction, this wine is consistently the top seller at the winery property. The Ozark Hellbender is classified as a Critically Endangered subspecies found only in the Ozark Mountains of southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. A collaborative captive breeding and research effort is now underway between various State and Federal agencies and Zoos to achieve long-term recovery of this very unique animal.
