Directions apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure, reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying · at least every 2 hours, children under 6 months of age: ask a doctor Sun Protection Measures. Spending, time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease, this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher, and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m .- 2 p.m. wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses

    Dries out my lips?

    It smells good, but it dries out my lips! I was wondering why my lips were so dry after using this repeatedly for days and then I came on here and saw the reviews… Also it’s really greasy and almost melts into your mouth so you can taste it… ew

    Very Different...

    I typically love all Sun Bum products, so I assumed I’d feel that way about this lip balm… But nope, it’s really weird! It doesn’t soak into your lips like a normal lip balm or chapstick; it almost just lays on top of your lips like a nonabsorbent oil. It smells and tastes fine, but the feeling and texture off it is odd. I can’t get used to it.

    skin irritation

    My mouth tastes awful.

    Goes on easily but then instantly puts a weird taste in your mouth. As time goes on it gets worse tasting. Do not recommend.

    DONT BUY

    If I could give this a 0 star I would. I’ve used this product two times and each time it has left my lips dry and irritated. Not to mention, the awful taste it has when applied. Definitely on a search for a better/different product.

    Scent is terrible

    The scent of this DOES NOT smell like watermelon. On the other hand, I find this lip balm really does help with preventing sunburn on my lips and that's why I keep it around.

    Yuck

    This has the strangest taste, I can’t place it. It’s sorta like watered down rubbing alcohol. I did not find it to be moisturizing. Sun Bum has great lip balms, but this just isn’t one of them.

    Horrible taste

    This has an awful taste! I thought I would pick up an SPF lip balm for the summer, and THIS… is not it! I can’t stand the flavor so much I can’t bring myself to use it.

    irritated my throat

    i orgiginally bought this at a surf shop, lost it, and then bought another at target. Ive used it twice, and both times i've had burning in my throat for at least 2 days after. not sure if this would effect other people but that's what happened to me.
