This baby floaty features a soft mesh seat with secure leg holes so baby can kick freely underwater as well as a mesh play space so your little one can splash and play with pool and water toys. The new and exclusive Hyper-Flate Valve features extremely innovative and convenient technology that enables parents to inflate the float approximately three times faster than before. Designed to provide a more comfortable and secure water introduction experience, the SwimWays Baby Spring Float has a patented inner spring sewn into the float along the edge of the outermost inflation chamber, providing increased stability. Q: What is the age requirements? I have a 4 month old that is too big for the infant one but can only sit with support.

A: I recently interacted with a supervised 6mo baby sitting comfortably in one of these at a public pool; I'm going to buy one for my son who is also 6mo old, and over 17lbs. The 9-24 month age range is of course a safety guideline from the manufacturer, but every baby is different — and it's more about size & ability than exact age — so if your baby is holding up their head on their own and has outgrown the smaller size then it sounds like a good option.

We loved it the one and only time we were able to use it! The valve for deflating it was great but then seemed to get stuck and wouldn't allow the float to be inflated again. We were able to use it one time for about an hour.

Its nice quality but the mesh seat is too long for an infant. Id say this is more for a 2-3 year old.

Doesnt fold back up easy
I love this float but am I the only one who has trouble folding it back up??? It’s like it fights back at me when I try to fold it and the best I can get is two large circles that does not fit back in the bag?? Spent 30 mins trying to fold it and gave up.

Floats well, gives baby space in the insert. But the sun protection cover doesn’t cover your baby from the sun no matter the angle you move it to.So what I did was unclipped the back and pulled it forward to cover my baby from the sun. I shouldn’t have to though . . .

He is sturdy enough while using it that I don’t have to constantly worry about him tipping over, and the canopy provides some nice sun protection. Inflated in seconds and equally easy to deflate. Always keep a hand and eyes on this float
Love how easy it inflates/deflates then folds up, but our 9 month old loves to move and spent most of his time trying to push himself out of it quite successfully on each try. We of course monitored him the whole time so we’d put him back in safely or remove him from it entirely, but this could be a major problem if you have another child who may divert your attention for a second or two their face could be down in the water through the mesh on top of the float. If you have at least one hand on it you should be able to tell there could be a potential problem although I honesty didn’t expect his arms were strong enough to move himself in that direction until I saw him do it.
