You get what you pay for in this case
Allows child to interact and enjoy water more. On vacation we purchased this and a similar product called Puddle Jumper. This one was 3.5 times the cost of that one but the experience was much better. Th e child is touching fabric and has much more contact with the water and also can splash and play in the ring area surrounding her. She preferred this one and it’s just nicer overall.

Might be safe ti buy a life vest instead
I wasn't sure what to expect before purchasing but some parents informed me at the pool that these devices tend to flip over (light wind or not) even if you're holding them which you obviously should be doing. I hadn't thought about that scenario at all but it does make sense to have your baby wearing a life vest worse case scenario. Returned it and bought a life vest the next day!

Great concept, poor quality
I was so excited to get this tube after seeing another baby in it. It has a great seat, a safe float, and the first time we used it, it was a success. The second time, the middle section no longer held air. The small piece meant to hold the air in while blowing no longer worked, after only ONE use, and all the air going in came back out with every breath. :(

Baby can easily get out
Was so excited about this and was great when we first got in the pool, but our 11 month old pushed himself forward on the shorter side and almost fell face first into the pool. Thankfully we were keeping him close and were able to catch him. He did stay afloat well but once he found out he could get out he just keep trying to do it again so we immediately stopped using it.

Loved the size and the built in platform for toys. I was nervous thinking it would be too small for my 2 year old and it was actually the perfect size for him. (he's about 30 lbs) with that I definitely think this is too big for smaller infants. We took it to Costa Rica with no problems. Initially I thought why didn't it come with a pump when first opened but it was actually super easy to just blow it up in seconds. You don't need some super human lung capacity it's easier and quicker than it looks.

Fun for baby
This was easy to set up with the exception of the clips for the canopy and toys, some were hard to snap. It was easy to blow up and deflate when storing it. My baby loved floating in the pool and playing with the toys. I wish the canopy could be adjusted as it only shades the back half. Still worth it as baby had a lot of fun being in the pool with the other kiddos. It’s also easy to break back down and fold back in the carrying case it came in.
