Good concept, bad execution
This could be a great product but it’s way too fussy. It’s very hard to get it to charge. The charging system requires you to carefully align the light with the base and I’ve killed the light several times by bumping it slightly while picking something else up off my nightstand. It doesn’t tell you it stopped charging and when you go to use it, you discover it’s dead. And once it’s dead, it’s quite cranky about coming back to life. It’s a really bad design that means it’s not a great nightlight, it’s not reliable as an alarm clock substitute, and it really isn’t worth the price. To be clear, I like it a lot when it works. But it frequently doesn’t.

Almoat perfect; avoid humidifiers
Amazing lights that we use at our bedside as a pair, perfect for heading to bed as it slowly dims. And excellent for those late night trips to the kitchen or to check on our little one. We also got one for our baby’s room, but with her humidifier on most of the time, the base tends to fail after about 4 months. It’s the only poor choice here; should have more than two contacts to charge it or be more resistant to moisture in the air. But nothing else on the market comes close to the brightness, ease of use, and functionality.

Do not buy!! Light was defective and never worked out of the box. Wouldn’t be too big of a deal but the Casper customer service for these lights is TERRIBLE. You will go back and forth with them forever.

Terrible design
Terrible design. The fact that you have to turn it over to turn it on is more annoying than I thought it would be, combined with the fact that it only stays on for 10 minutes. When you turn it on it automatically comes on at the brightest setting, shocking your eyes when it is the middle of the night. It should come on at a much lower setting. I’m not sure why no one thought of this. Adults, do yourselves a favor and buy a hatch nightlight for kids. It doesn’t have any of the many flaws that the Casper has, plus it is also a sound machine and clock, can be controlled by an app, and looks just as nice.

Changed my mornings
This light has changed my morning routine! I used to snooze for 45 minutes and when finally getting up, be incredibly groggy from all of those interruptions. I also think sound is just more jarring to wake up to than light. I now get up an hour earlier feeling much more awake than before! So glad I purchased!

Perfect Lamps with Fatal Flaw
I LOVE these lamps but they have an unfortunately fatal design flaw—the charging base. Two flimsy prongs are the only thing standing between the worlds most perfect light and a useless tube. If Casper fixed the way this charged (honestly just ditch the base and make it a usb c) it would be perfection. Instead I’ve got one charging base left that works for three lamps. And no one from Casper seems to care to send a new one.
