ABOUT CASPER
Casper was created to re-imagine sleep from the ground up, beginning with its obsessively engineered, outrageously comfortable mattress. All of Casper's sleep products are developed in-house by the company's award-winning R&D team, including its airy sheets, pillow-in-a-pillow, and inventive Lounger and Layer designed exclusively for Target.
Casper was recently named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies in the World and its eponymous mattress was crowned one of TIME Magazine's Best Inventions.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I put a mattress directly on the metal bedframe?
You cannot put the Casper or any other mattress directly on the frame. The metal bed frame is designed to be used with a foundation or box spring.
What kind of foundation do I use with the metal bed frame?
The Casper foundation is the perfect option for the metal bed frame. Should you opt for an alternative foundation or box spring, choose one with sturdy, unyielding slats with a lot of surface area; these are often described as "modern style".
How tall will the Casper mattress be with the Casper foundation and metal bed frame?
Together, the entire sleep setup will be approximately 24.6 inches off the ground.
What is the 120-Night Trial?
We believe you should actually sleep on a product to decide if you like it. So we give you 120 nights to test out all Casper products in your own home. If you don't love it, we'll give you a full refund.

Q: can you attach a headboard and footboard to this frame?
A: What are you supposed to do if you have a bed with a footboard?
submitted byUSBisDead - 3 years agoA: Hey there, Pat. The metal bed frame features brackets for a headboard, but not a footboard!

Q: Can a footboard be attached too? I have a beautiful old iron headboard and footboard that I would like to use (a standard mattress is too large) by attaching to frame.
A: Are there any options at all for attaching a footboard? Any extra pieces that can be purchased?
submitted byUSBisDead - 3 years agoA: While a headboard can easily be attached to our metal bed frame, it cannot accommodate a footboard.

Q: So, do I understand correctly that if I have an iron bed with a headboard AND a footboard, this product is not for me? I won't be able to attach the footboard?
A: If you have an iron bed frame, you should not need a metal bed frame. However, without seeing your frame it is difficult for us to say for certain.

Q: Would this fit a California King bed with purchasing additional extension bars or what not? I just want to be sure.
A: Our Metal Bed Frame is meant to be paired with a Foundation or box spring replacement piece to support the mattress appropriately. If you were looking to fit the Metal Bed Frame inside of another bed set structure for further support, we would advise you on keeping the dimensions in mind. You can find the dimensions for our Metal Bed Frame under the Specifications section!

Q: I saw a 2 year old answered question about this frame not supporting a foam mattress without your foundation. Will it support a Beauty rest low profile (5") box spring and Beauty Rest 12" high mattress with 811 coils? Mattress is 53"x80"
A: The metal bed frame is meant to support a standard box spring or the Casper Foundation. It serves as a platform for a second support system on which the mattress rests directly. It is built to industry standard and should work with products that are also built to industry standard!

Q: I was reading the questions below, but am still unclear. Do I have to have a Casper mattress with this? Our Queen box spring is a two piece. Would that work on here?
A: Hi, Melissa! This metal bed frame can be used with standard boxsprings or with the Casper foundation.

Q: Does the twin frame have the extra support bar?
A: Hi, Joyce! The twin and twin XL sizes do not feature a center support rail. Only the full, queen, king, and California king feature a center support rail.

Q: Does the twin frame have the extra support in the middle?
A: Hi, Joyce! The twin and twin XL sizes do not feature a center support rail. Only the full, queen, king, and California king feature a center support rail. That being said, this metal bed frame is meant to be paired with our foundation! The combination of the two would be plenty supportive.

A: Hey, Don. The height cannot be adjusted, but there is about 6 inches of clearance under the bed frame!
