The Dirty Tricks - Not Gonna Stop (CD)

Multi-instrumentalist Adam Luksetich formed Dirty Tricks in Chicago in 2020 before relocating to Los Angeles. Inspired by early 1980s hard rock and heavy metal, he set out to capture the raw energy of the Sunset Strip era. To introduce the project, Adam recorded and released the four-song EP Bright Lights, Big City, handling all songwriting, vocals, instruments, and production himself. For Dirty Tricks' debut album, Not Gonna Stop, Adam once again took a largely DIY approach, recording and producing most of the album at home. Not Gonna Stop delivers classic hard rock and heavy metal in the tradition of early Def Leppard, Dokken, and Guns N' Roses. Influenced by the sounds of early '80s metal, Adam kept the production raw and energetic, pairing memorable melodies with headbanging riffs. The album's title reflects Adam's lifelong dedication to music.
