Macon (age 27) is the ultimate playboy who is in Hawaii to build the family’s most elaborate hotel. It starts off with pure steam with less sizzle in the middle but ends hot again. Brooklyn (age 22) is working hard and in her final year of college to and hoping for an amazing job. Macon has insta obsession with Brooklyn. I loved how sweet, romantic and swoonworthy he was. I found Brooklyn annoying a lot of the time and minus her attractive looks I really didn’t see how Macon fell for her at first. Her hard to get was actually annoying most of the time. Even her being angry at the end, she was given the opportunity of a lifetime, just appreciate it. This book is a stand-alone but it is far more enjoyable if you’ve read the Dalton series. We first meet Macon in The Bachelor, he's Camden's best friend. His uncle is Walter Spade, the owner of the luxury hotel brand, who we meet in The Billionaire. Walter's daughter is Jo, Jenner's heroine. LOTS of Dalton family crossovers and Ioved all the scenes they were in 🥰
