I couldn't really imagine how different this one could be, but it truly is. I can dig up practically anything with it. A wonderful gift for any gardener!

The blade on my previous cheap trowel (NOT from Gardener's) broke in half. I believe this will be the last trowel I ever have to purchase, and I love that it is handmade in Holland! #sweepstakes

This garden trowel far exceeds the quality of others. It is so frustrating to be doing a job and the handle breaks. I have bent the shaft on tooo many. I can't see this happening again with things trowel.

This is a nice sturdy trowel. I particularly like the edges designed for cutting through soil and roots. I'm hopeful this will hold up for a long time.
Expensive but worth it.

Bought them for their sturdiness. They are sturdy. Won't have to buy anything else. These will last and that's all I'm buying anymore. Good products.
I would buy this product again and I am glad I purchased it.

I can tell that it will dig through soil easily making it easier for me to plant tomato plants and other plants such as flowers. The handle and steel blade are of very high quality.
Finally, a good trowel!

We've been using cheap trowels that come in start kits all this time, so this is like stepping up from a used old beater to a brand new luxury car.

I received this for Mother's Day and have used it quite a bit since. I tend to be pretty hard on my tools, I mean I REALLY put my tools to the test. This has stood up to digging around perennials to pop out and divide, create holes to place new plantings and even shallow trenches for planting seeds in the veggie garden.
Outstanding quality!

This is a really well built, right sized garden trowel, that will hold its shape season after season. The thoughtful hand-crafted construction, from the ergonomic hardwood handle, to the sharpened heavy gauge steel blade, to the hand forged construction make this an heirloom tool that will last a lifetime and will be there for generation after generation of avid gardeners. While perhaps not the least expensive trowel out there, it will be the last one you ever need to buy. It is absolutely worth every penny - a true investment in quality.

I bought this trowel in the early to mid-90's and it just now broke. I would never dream of replacing it with anything else.

I'm replacing my older tools with these Lifetime tools because of the quality. You get what you pay for most times and this would be one. I love how they feel and how easy they are to clean after use.

This is my favorite trowel now. The blade is very sharp and it cuts easily through roots. The wooden handle feels good in your hand. The blade is attached securely to the handle. The blade is easy to clean because it does not have protruding rivets. The blade did not rust or discolor after about 6 months of almost daily use. The trowel still looks like new. I am confident that it will serve me well for many years to come.

I really like this trowel as it is heavy duty compared to my aluminum one. I clean it and dry it thoroughly after very use. I also oil it with linseed oil as instructed. Noticed I have rust starting on the tip despite that. The tip and back is becoming shiny and not the dark metal that the rest of the shovel is.
Would buy again
