Q: Hello, I just purchased this in the store and noticed that the tag has a lead warning. I can't find any information on the Fiskars website. Can you explain what exactly this lead warning is for?

label says contains lead!

The label says this trowel contains lead. There is no way I want anything containing lead near my vegetable garden to get into the soil and then into the vegetables we eat. Unfortunately, I removed the tags before reading them so I can't return. I wish they were more responsible about the materials used, the trowel itself feels a lot sturdier than others I have had.

I don't know what all the excitement is regarding the size being too large and handle big for a woman! TI am 68 years old and don't have large hands. This spade is the perfect size for digging in beds to plant flowers effortlessly. If you are planning on weeding, I would use a smaller tool.

I ordered this when some heavy digging broke my old trowel, and I am extremely happy with this upgrade. I even bought the Fiskars transplanter as well because of this one. It's solid and strong but not heavy.

You will need LARGE hands to use this tool. Handle has a very large girth.
